I started getting sore nipples and gyno starting a month or so before my operation. Mr Dr had said to wait and see if it went away.

After the operation it was still getting worse, so I spoke to my Uro. My blood tests were in the normal range for Estradiol, however in the upper range. My free testosterone was also normal, however in the lower range. Obviously my body is more sensitive to estrogen. He put me on 0.5mg of Armidex per day and that brought my estradiol down to mid/low range and free test went up to mid/high range.

I still had a little nipple tender-nous, although the bumps had gone down a lot. So he added 10mg tamoxifen morning and night about 1-2 weeks ago. I think that will have increased my testosterone further, but I have not had any more blood tests yet.

For the Arimidex, he said as it is keeping me in range I could probably stay on it long term. The tamoxifen is meant to be only for 1-2 months, until nipples are completely fine.

I was in a bad place last week. This is all messed up on my part and should have had sexual counselling a long time ago.

The clinic have been excellent really and I should not react in anyway shape or form when when heads in a dark place right now.

Head priority, cock second!

I think getting your head straight and in a good place, is an big part of the treatment which isn't addressed when you speak to a doctor.

My condition has now gradually reverted back to pre-op baseline, around 10 weeks after surgery. My condition hasn't worsened (yet) and I've been off the Cialis daily for around a month so I could maybe drag this on using pills for a while longer (assuming that my response to pills would be at least slightly improved by the procedure). I've currently organised the funds to self-pay for an implant operation in the US however, so now it's just a matter of picking a surgeon and waiting until this condition is no longer manageable.

I guess this area is still too poorly understood to really know what on earth what was/is going on down there - 10 weeks is too short a timeframe for vein re-growth to occur and the theory of smooth muscle dysfunction preventing venous occlusion isn't 100% there either, as my erections after the op were ridiculously strong/easy to get...it actually started to get annoying at one stage. I guess in a decade or two we'll hopefully know what the issue given the label 'venous leak' actually is.

It was discussed that failure of this procedure might indicate a crural vein leakage, as this procedure only targets veins which terminate at the Santorini Plexus. Research shows that in highly specific patient populations that have been properly diagnosed this surgery has a success rate in the 70% region...to be honest though I'm done with paying for procedures and I'm done with ridiculous waiting lists thus I'm not particularly interested in this treatment avenue, so you can expect my posts in the 'Implants' section to ramp up big time.

Sorry to hear your condition has worsen.

Have you thought about another doppler test to confirm the leak has returned ? I'm planning to have one in December more for peace of mind and to confirm the operation results.

What about your hormone levels, have you had them checked ? Low T or High E can also contribute to it.

What was the reason you discontinued the daily Cialis ? My uro recommends staying on it, as it improves endothelial function and penis health in general & therefore helps rehabilitate the penis.

Sorry to hear things have got worse for you Seeking, for me it's just been an horrendous couple of weeks which has seen me have a break down and end up on anti depressants for the first time in my life!

The bottom line is I'm back on 100mg Viagra to get an erection, I get more engorged (more girth) than before but my erections are less stable and I can't stay erect standing up which indicates a new leak in the cura. I can penetrate and have completed sex a couple of times but I wish I still had a less engorged erection and wish I'd never gone to Vienna. The trade off is my erection is stronger laying in my back.

Can't change things now so have to move forward with what I've got and plan for an implant in the next few years.
