Yes its probably too early to tell although I would think morning wood and spontaneous erections would be the best indicator. I really hope that you find much improvement in a couple weeks. I guess our symptoms are a bit different as I can get a little hard, but my glans and spongiosum is always soft no matter how hard I get. But without constant stimulation everything will go soft within seconds.

The doppler ultrasound test will verify inflow (arteries) and outflow (veins) in the penis. So I believe if you have an artery blockage, the doppler should be able to identify it...

When Dr. Eid did the ultrasound on me before the implant surgery, he measured outflow as a percentage of inflow. Meaning both can be measured.

I had the this venous leak surgery done about 1 year ago. Unfortunatly i didnt wait out the 2 weeks recovery time and tried sex just days after. My condition has improved a bit, i get erections and morning woods but the are not rockhard and they still loose too fast .
The doctor is optimistic and said i should try a combination of erection pills for a month and if that doesnt work we should redo the surgery. I have to emphasize here that I was the one suggesting another surgery. What are your experiences and what do you suggest ? After all the surgery is very costly

Btw i was very healthy and only developed this issues after a testicle surgery

Well, I think you are quite typical...
Of all the people here on this site who have done it (around 5-8 I think), nobody has been cured. There is only different grades of improvement, and one I think got no improvement at all.

To me, as you can see in my signature, an improvement wasn't enough. I wanted a cure. So I went ahead and did the implant about 5-6 months after the sclerotherapy. To me, the ED issue is not about improvement. It's about cure.
If my dick goes limp 4 times of 10 or 2 times of 10 - I don't really care. It's the same shit. I still have ED, I still feel like shit when it happens etc.

If I was you, seriously, I don't think I would do it. But it is a useless advice, we all must decide for ourselves what we think is best for us.

I have cured my ED now with my implant. On the other hand, even though the implant works great, nothing is ever the same as a naturally perfect working dick. That is something we can never have, and the tough fact we must accept.

I don't think it's useless to tell this to people Merrix. Sure, everybody can and should try what they feel like. But if the overwhelming facts and stats, show that it's almost guaranteed it won't work, why shouldn't we be advising that to people? it's going to be more time lost, along with more psychological burden, when people could be progressing towards a better treatment option staright away...

Yes its depressing that there are so many failures with the surgery. It seems like razor had the biggest improvement. Wish oxford would update his condition since he seemed to have some improvement. Echegollen just had his surgery a few weeks ago but doesn't seem like there was any changes to his condition albeit its only been a couple weeks.

As I stated a wee bit back on this thread, Dr. Brandes at Washington University School of Medicine told me years ago they no-longer do this type of surgery because of poor results and the results often do not last if they do have a good initial result. I have chosen the cheap fast fix route as many of you on all these forums have. The results from a quick cheap fix are like the promise the lottery ticket YOU buy will be the winner. My lottery tickets were not winning tickets. If you want a winning ticket pay the man who picks the numbers well not the hack peddling tickets.

Sorry guys for not giving any updates for so long. I have been very busy at work, but at the same time I didn't feel it would be useful to give updates too often. Only time will tell what the results really are. I am barely 1 month post-op now. Unfortunately, I did not get that first month of daily super erections like some lucky guys had. In fact, I didn't see much change. I am still taking cialis 5mg daily. Today, I tried to have sex with my girl. She gave me a nice 10 minute blow job. I had an erection for some seconds but I quickly lost it. It stayed between 40-60% erect all the time, which is not very satisfying. I will still experiment for several weeks before giving a real assessment of my condition. Next time I have sex, I will try to pop a Viagra pill to see the difference.

The truth is, I am getting ready to accept the fact that my conditions has remained the same. Now having this said, according to Dr. Kuehhas, the doppler test did not show signs of a venous leak. My problem is more than likely something else. Thus, I might not be the best case to assess the effectiveness of sclerotherapy.

Iam still happy I gave it a shot because it was my last option. The implant is just not option for me before 5-10 years. In the meantime, I still try to become an expert at eating a woman to make up for my freakin limp dick.
