Hi everyone,

I have had normal erections in the past before the age of 18. Then something happened (not sure what changed) and all my erections have been more limp than usual. I lost all morning erections too.
I have been suffering from this for years with a lot of docs brushing this off.
My body is not the same anymore...

I recently saw a urologist who said this may be a neuro or venous problem but no matter what it is, it is going to be hard to pinpoint the problem and treatment is just Viagra.
So I tried Viagra. 20mg helps. 40 mg is better, 60mg is amazing. I can have 3 rounds, each lasting 10-15min, 1 hour apart.
But there are times when Viagra doesnt do anything (sometimes when my sleep is erratic or I am more tired than usual?). After ingesting it, I have no flushing and my erections are the normal limpy ones.
I do not know if the pills are not good or it's my neuro tone or it's food that is affecting them.
Any bipolar experiences with viagra?

thanks

Keep in mind that bouts of ED occur even in perfectly healthy males. I would wear the wife out one weekend and then struggle to get hard the next. Having to rely on oral medications only complicates things because you wonder if it's the meds failing. You're at an age where a bad day at work, stress, loss of sleep, etc.. will affect your love life.

The absorption of Viagra is highly dependent on any recent meal. Specifically, any high fat foods (cheese, pizza, ice cream, cheeseburger, etc will decrease the absorption from the gut and the medication will not get to its target. Many docs advise taking the medication on an empty stomach. Try avoiding taking the med with or after a meal.
