Implant at Young Age

I am a 27 year old who has suffered from lifelong ED. After two failed venous ligation surgeries, I am finally considering going the implant route. Would anyone be willing to chat with me about their experience with the implant? Would prefer someone who resembles my situation as much as possible: (i) implanted while in their 20's, (ii) have never achieved full erection anytime during their life.

I’m 27 years old also, but I’m waiting for a better option. Don’t get me wrong the implant seems like the best thing to do in your situation, but you do realize this is irreversible and you also lose some of your length and girth from what I’ve seen. I’m not trying to scare you out of doing it, but what if they come up with a solution to our problem tomorrow.. I’m waiting a couple more years then I’ll consider the implant. I’ve also read its worse for people like me who are “growers” my erect penis is a little over 8” long and 6” around. When it’s flaccid it’s about 4 inches so after the implant it may be around 5-6 inches. Lol that’s not something I’m ready to deal with. Not saying there’s anything wrong with having a 5-6 inch penis. It’s just not what I’m used to. My advice do some more research and make sure it’s something you really want to do. 100% all in!
Good luck man.

It was a no brainer for me because nothing else worked. Although I am not completely satisfied with my implant it gave it my life back. There is more to life than Sex and I wasn't even enjoying watching movies, traveling, hanging around with friends. ED puts a dampener on everything in your life. That being said do go through all other avenues before the implant. I would have used injections if they had worked for me.
@Norrr813 if you go to an experienced implant surgeon you will not be shortchanged and your implant length will be equal to your current erect length.

I am 23 years old and I currently take cialis 5mg every day, but I have no good results with that treamen, so I would get an implant if I had the money just because I don't want to lose my best age sexually

Minnesota! Good to see you're still around! Any comments on how your implant life is going? What is your size if you don't mind my asking?

I’m a bit bigger then you are and I kept all my length and girth. The way I see it is if you can’t rely on your erection what does it even matter what supposed size you are? Now that I have the implant I have sex when ever I want without drugs or self doubt.

My erections are position dependent. I’d rather keep my current condition then to lose a couple inches. I’ve looked all over the internet and haven’t seen a bigger than average implanted penis.

Loss of size upon implantation is rare PROVIDED you have a good surgeon. A less-than-good surgeon should be avoided at all costs. How does a surgeon become good? Training.
There is an adage to keep in mind:
Good judgment comes from experience. Experiences come from bad judgement. Surgical judgement comes from experience. Don't let a novice surgeon develop his judgement on you. There are new surgeons developing their skills under the tutelage of highly experienced surgeons. If you cannot go to one of the "premier" surgeons, one who is training under one or recently gone out on his own would be adequate.
Dr. Eid wrote to me, "Find a surgeon in love with his craft." He went on to say that such a surgeon will put the welfare of his patient above all other considerations.
At some point in your life, size will be less of a consideration than rigidity. At that point, you will be ready. In the meantime, keep hoping for an actual CURE for your particular type of E.D. Remember an implant is only a treatment, not a cure.

If I was your age, I would try to get a job with insurance that covers the procedure. Good luck!
