Hi, as title says basically….

I have venous leakage. got all the symptoms. im 27.
doppler suggested venous leak also in May 2022.
Poor response to 10mcg Alprostadil.

Im going to Paris to dr. Eric Allaire to perform CT cavernosography in order to find and tell how severe is my leak and where is its location. Im not typing about confirming it as I can confirm having it by myself.

Did anyone here HAD embolization done and was happy with outcome ?

I have heard mix of things. That leak can be cured for short time as body will develop new leak (thanks my body, i love you for being such leaky) or that its long lasting solution?

Any opinions thrown here will be appraciate.

If this wont help me im going for implant straight to finally start enjoying sex at 27 years old instead of popping pills and praying for them to work to be able to penetrate for 5 minutes in one position before i go limp.

It's hard to find good information on it man, my urologist said it might not give me a fully hard erection and that there is less than 50% success rate after 2 years but surely that is a good enough reason to try it instead of committing to the implant. I got my implant and I regret not trying embolization first

when u decided for implant how old are you and you already were not getting any kind of erections? pills worked at beginning and stopped or they never let you get sustable erection for penetration ? have you had morning wood ? and what EDV you had ?

u performed both doppler and cavernosogram after the time when pills already stopped working ? or you started pills after diagnose ? how long have you used them ? this situation with escort sounds very weird to be honest :/ i cant imagine what you have felt.

Got the Doppler and cavernosogram last year when the pills stopped working. I'd been to different GPs several times over the years with my ED, they all did blood work which always came back normal and told me it was in my head, a very fit young guy of course they would think that. It wasn't until the pills stopped working that I was then referred to a urologist who did the Doppler and then a radiologist did the cavernosogram

As I thought - pills stopped working, then exams.
Well I guess Im fucked then too. I will need to get implant too.
Do you maybe know what values of EDV you had on doppler ? And what was response to injection? zero erection at all, partial erection, almost full, angry boner that lasted ?

I now have such bizarre situations with erections that let's say at 5 pm I want to jerk off and nothing, I have to push on a slightly larger but soft dick. If I was you and the pills are still working for you I would still try the embolization before thinking of the implant

Disagree. Long term data is not promising for embolization:

In case of positively confirmed venous-occlusive dysfunction including its morphological demonstration on CT cavernosography, the treatment strategy is occlusion of venous leaks (Box 3). Surgical therapy consists of deep dorsal vein ligation and additional ligation of potential collaterals. However, surgical treatment is rather invasive and usually needs to be performed in an operation room under general anesthesia. Not very encouraging, long-term success rates of surgical ligation of the deep dorsal vein and its collaterals are reported to be ~ 25%

What exactly are you disagreeing with

Just because it's not a long term solution doesn't mean it can't be a legitimate and successful solution in the short term
