I'll try to just hit highlights in study conclusion.
"All patients were seen with their partners and interviewed about their sexual activity and patient’s ejaculation function. In total, 42 patients were
recruited, but only 40 (95%) completed the whole randomized trial study (30 of 31 in the vardenafil group and 10 of 11 in the placebo group)"
"...intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) alone and fully validated multidimensional measures to assess different aspects are required. In most
studies, IELT is believed to be the most sensitive parameter for measuring the efficacy of treatment of PE. 5,6"
"In this study, we demonstrate that fixed-dose vardenafil (10 mg), when given 15–30 min before intercourse, determines a robust
increase in IELT when compared with placebo."
"Vardenafil also improved...patients’ perception of control over ejaculation, satisfaction with sexual intercourse and overall impression of change in condition with modest and transient side effects."
"..we designed a study providing 1-month follow-up during which patients were crossed over to receive the alternative treatment
patients initially treated with placebo for 8 weeks reported a significant increase in IELT after treatment with vardenafil."
"In our study vardenafil increased IELT and reduced PERT in men with LL-PE without ED. Besides, net
improvements in the confidence, perception of ejaculatory control and overall sexual satisfaction were reported."

I've been experiencing PE lately, which is relatively new for me. Think I'm going to try levitra again. It will take six weeks to get it from my online source, but I'll be sure and report back.

All my life I was the poster boy for a two pump chump.Initially I thought all men were like me. Then I spent a night at a friend's house once. It was a very old house with likely no insulation in interior walls. I went to bed and a short time later my friend and his girl went to bed on the other side of the wall. I heard everything that went on. When the bedsprings started squeaking I was flabbergasted. I'm guessing he pounded away a solid 10 minutes. The next day the girl was gone. I broached the subject of my friend's stamina. He devastated me by telling me of a few of my former conquests he had screwed too. He said they both mentioned they got to inhale and exhale twice before I cummed, or something very close to that description. He claimed almost every woman we knew was aware I wasn't worth their time. I started remembering a few girls who had vigorously pursued me in the recent past that dropped me cold after we had sex. I guess I had my reason for it!
After that a few times during a date, after we had gone back to my apartment, I went in the bathroom and jacked off first before we ended up in bed. The problem with being in my 20's was I had what seemed like a 30 second refractory period so the jacking off first never helped. I always tried to keep going like I hadn't cummed yet to get to the point of busting a second load. I guess girls can tell. I remember a few times them saying "it's okay" and them ending it. I learned about a cream you could ask a pharmacist for called Detane that was a lidocaine deal. It never really helped. This was in the 70's and I finally got brave enough to bring it up with my doctor. He didn't wanna pursue the discussion and just said "you're normal, don't worry about it". All I can say in my defense is I was a good looking guy when I was younger and ended up in bed usually with a knockout beauty that I think most guys would have gotten overly stimulated by! Fortunately, when I was 25 I met my soon to be wife who was 18 at the time and a virgin. She never had any previous reference to gauge my performance by. After 38 years of marriage, with my PE always in full force, I got an implant. I'll never forget my wife's reaction the first time we had sex after it. She blurted out "are you ever gonna come?", which she quickly followed with "but I'm not complaining!". We were watching a tv show recently with an explicit sex scene. She remarked "I can't help but notice you last a lot longer than any guys in movies with sex scenes". The implant cured me of PE by a long shot. If I could get a time machine and transport back to my younger days I'd be the most popular guy in town!

Do you still cum early?
After my implant, I often would not cum at all, but after several months, I began to be able to. Now, almost every time we have sex. (as in the original post IELT, Intra-vaginal Ejaculation Latency Time) My IELT is getting shorter, not back to my pre-implant days, but still only minutes. IELT before implant was measured in seconds - mostly because I had to maintain vigorous stimulation in order to maintain my erection and that stimulation would quickly make me come to cumming. Lessening the stimulation to avoid cumming always resulted in the erection collapsing. Catch-22.
Now, because of the implant of course, I can maintain my erection even after cumming, but my energy levels still fall off a cliff afterwards.
So, Dave, is your PE actually cured (longer IELT than before your implant, and, if so, how much longer?) or just no longer a factor because Premature Erection Collapse (P.E.C.) is no longer inevitable?
