Bottoming after surgery.

Hey, I’m hoping to get a suprapubic Titan implant at the beginning of February. I’m looking forward to using it as a top. But I also very much enjoy bottoming. I know you have to wait a good bit of time before you’re allowed to use your new implant for sex. Dr. Taj is my doctor and I know his protocol is that you can have sex as soon as three weeks after the implant. But I wonder what timeframe applies to bottoming?

I would very much like to bottom for my husband during recovery, however, I don’t want to do anything that will mess with my recovery. Still it seems like as long as my husband is not aggressive, I don’t see the problem. But, I know I probably wouldn’t come or even pump it up. I would expect to wait at least a couple of weeks, but didn’t know if anybody else had experience about how soon it’s OK to bottom after surgery. I feel a bit funny asking my doctor, but I guess I can if I need to.

Definitely ask your doc. Nothing to be embarrassed about.
In an early, 1 week post op call with my doc, he told me I’d be OK’d for sex at 3 weeks. I asked him, “but what about masturbation?” Might seem like an awkward question but I didn’t think I would make it to 3 weeks. LOL. He said I could gently masturbate as soon as I felt ready. (I made it to day 9. )

Once you get the OK I’m guessing you’ll be more comfortable wearing a jock while you are bottoming so everything is being supported and not knocked around. And I’m guessing some positions would probably be more comfortable than others. I think bending in half on my back with my legs up would be uncomfortable initially. Same with laying on my stomach with the top laying on me. But on my side would probably be OK. Maybe kneeling. Let comfort be your guide and go gentle.
