If anyone can help with some ideas... I'm having a frustrating time right now, because I cannot climax in my dear wife.
This has been going on for about 3 months. I can still masturbate, but it takes a long time to get there. I've asked my wife to help me with her hand and her hand wears out , so I finish it off myself.... but I have to grip hard to even feel anything.

OK. First, stop the masturbating. Divorce your hand from your penis now. Go buy a soft vagina-like masturbation sleeve. Use that...and only if you have to.
But that's just the physical behavior. What you have is an arousal/stimulation issue. Stop the monitoring. So,you don't orgasm today...who cares? Sex is not about orgasm. You'll reach it in a day or two as it builds. meanwhile, enjoy the sexual energy it gives you.
What drugs are you on? what meds? what has changed? Go to a GOOD men's sex med doc. He might try Wellbutrin to help initially - it lowers orgasm threshold.
Increase stimulation with an Aneros, with a WeVibe vibrator. blow your mind with new sensations. If it's not working, why are you trying the same old thing?
This is both a complex issue, yet a really easy issue. Get out of your brain and into your sex life.

I have to have my legs outside my wife's in missionary position. This helps squeeze my penis and I get more feeling. Have you tried that? Since PCa treatment by radiation and Lupron I don't ejeculate and don't always have an orgasm but we can have fun and be close.

Re: low penis sensitivity
Well I've got a similar issue. Had prostate surgery 5yrs ago. Now am impotent w/o pills or injections. The pills get me hard, but don't always last long enough for satisfying sex, at least for me. For my wife it's just fine, because she uses her toys and has many cums. The pills also come with side effects. The injections don't always work, but when they do work, they leave me with an erection that lasts too long-- 4 to 5 hours. And the erection is more like a war club than a nice hard penis. But all this being said, my wife doesn't care, because she loves her vibrators and she really gives me a nice show to watch.
Now in addition, my penis lacks sensitivity and it's difficult to cum w/o jer king off, which I do. She encourages me to do so and it's fine. Since before my surgery we had practiced mast*urbation sex regularly. W'e'd lie next to each other and play with ourselves. It wasn't the exclusive thing we did, but we did it regularly together. So now that I have problems with cumming, I don't mind doing it at all. She jerks me off, but more often I do it myself while she plays. Often she talks very frankly while I do it: mocking out my useless, limp dick while I jerk it. I love it. So while she's mocking out my limp dick, I get off. I guess it's our own form of "frank talk".
This type of talk didn't come really easily to her. rather I asked her to do it. She now loves it and it turns me on to point that I don't think too much of my not-so- sensitive dick. The more she mocks it out the more sensitive it becomes. Certainly I miss having intercourse, but it's more my concern than hers. I keep her batteries fresh and she continues to expand her derogatory lexicon regarding my limp, non-sensitive penis.

Hi Freddy, when you masturbate are you using the grip of steel all the time to get to ejaculation, if so here lays your problem, just think of the vagina all soft and delicate, so you masturbate with grip of steel then your penis goes to something that's the complete reverse and you wonder why you cant get to ejaculation or a climax even.
Time to re-educate your penis, from now and with your wife if she's game get some baby oil and start to masturbate with an oily hand and just a feather light touch, it will take time to undo what you have done, but you will get there.
Try reading how I got over ED who knows perhaps it could work for you, link to my post.

Re: low penis sensitivity
I have low penile sensitivity and ED caused by multiple sclerosis. My MS worsened in 2013 and I had not been able to ejaculate in a vagina since then until very recently. I started seeing my GF in 2015 and, while we had great sex, I was not able to ejaculate inside her. But I enjoy orgasms, so I would masturbate until I came. My GF really wanted me to ejaculate inside of her, so we tried many positions and even anal sex (during which my lover orgasms). Finally, we discovered that the Reverse Cowgirl position rubs my penis in the right way and about a month ago I ejaculated into her vagina for the first time. Since then, while I don't always ejaculate internally, we know the position to give it our best shot!
