Venus 2000

Postby Reggieman » Fri Mar 12, 2021 7:09 pm

I had a radical prostatectomy in 2016 which left me with no erection and with anorgasmia. Masturbation by hand takes for ever (even after I have injected Bimix) and has little reward as I have also lost a lot of sensation in my penis. I bought and have been using a Erostek 312B e-stim device. I am reconsidering the purchase of a Venus 2000 after having chosen the purchase many years ago of the e-stim device. I am as happy with the 31B as one could expect given my situation but am wondering if I missed something when I declined the Venus 2000.

Has anyone on this forum who has had a RP purchased/used a Venus 2000? How happy were you with it using it on a flaccid or hard penis? If you have anorgasmia how happy are you with its effectiveness?

What does the E-stim do for you? I have some of your issues with orgasm, it takes me a long time to get there.

Many guys can get an orgasm using e-stim. The concept is simple...just run a current of electricity through your penis. Very low current...no hooking up to you 120 volt wall outlet.

I've been using it for years as my ED got worse and my wife lost all interest in sex, if she ever had any to begin with. In my case my RP injured a lot of nerves and I have to work at trying to get something like a very small but satisfying orgasm.

I inject Bimix twice a week and use estim while I have an erection. I am only successful at orgasming (such as it is) about 20% of the time. For young guys it is way better from their accounts.

The website SMARTSTIM.COM (which is currently down for some reason) has forums which go into detail on how to use estim, equipment required, safety, DIY electrodes, etc. Great wealth of information. And it is free.

A lot of old geezers like myself tend to need an extra mental push to get over the top. This comes in the form of watching porn, reading literotica, etc. while stimming. If I was young and healthy with no ED or nerve damage I probably could get off without this extra boost.

First one smears electroconductive gel on the body parts. This prevents the electrical current from stinging. If it stings then use more gel. Then a commercial or DIY electrode is attached. Two electrodes are used in a simple setup such as one loop around the penis head and one around the scrotum. The lead wire coming out of the estim device splits into two parts. One part is attached to the penis electrode and they other to the scrotum electrode. The current flows from one electrode through the penis to the second electrode. As the current flows it stimulates the nerves. This is a very simple explanation.

Most people start out with a Tens device as they are cheap. If they enjoy it then they can purchase devices that are specifically made of erotic use. The top of the line are pricey.
