Investigate and repair nerve damage

Postby CanGetItUpButNotOff » Tue Feb 25, 2025 11:57 am

In my never-ending quest to try everything and anything, I am now investigating nerve damage repair. After an abnormal QST (Quantitative Sensory Testing), my urologist put me in touch with a spine surgeon who includes anorgasmia in his practice. I have done a lumbar MRI that he has reviewed to show a couple of annular tears and suggested that I have anti-inflammatory injections to see if my anorgasmia responds to that. He has set my expectations low - his experience is that 20-30% of men see a difference. If the anti-inflammatory injections show promise, then the next step would be either longer-term injections or possibly surgery to correct the annular tears..

Has anyone else been down this road?
Born 1954. Diabetes, hypertension and atherosclerosis. Sildenafil is iffy. Tri-Mix (30/3/20 Pap/Phen/PGE1) a godsend pending long-term efficacy. Daily Cialis. Tried LiESWT, Botox, PT-141, Eroxon, QST, DUS, Vertica, cabergoline, psychotherapy+hypnotherapy.
