Physical therapy for Urinary Frequency and Urinary Urgency

Hey guys,
Have any of you gone through a physical therapy program for Urinary Frequency and Urinary Urgency?
I have been bothered by this for quite a while, my urologist put me on Mirabegron extended-release tablets, and this has really helped me a lot, but I am still bothered by it. I just had my last checkup on my implant, where I brought this up again and said I was still bothered by it and was given a referral for pelvic floor physical therapy. I asked if it helps and was told they have seen a lot of success. When I called to make an appointment, I was told I would be doing pilates. Has anyone had this type of PT and has it helped you?
I was also told insurance doesn't cover this, I find that hard to believe, I am on Medicare and have an excellent PPO supplemental policy that has paid for any PT I have ever needed. What do you guys think about that? I haven't check with my insurance yet.
