Vertica. Or not.

One of the newer treatments for ED, Shock Wave Therapy is still in it's experimental stages. While the treatment often sounds promising, it is only effective for a few patients and the results are not permanent. Informed Consumers are the best patients!

Vertica. Or not.

Postby CanGetItUpButNotOff » Thu Dec 26, 2024 6:48 pm

I'm participating in a clinical RCT for the Vertica. I have a device but I'm blinded as to whether it is real or a sham. I'll let you know in 5 months.
Born 1954. Diabetes, hypertension and atherosclerosis. Sildenafil is iffy. Tri-Mix (30/3/20 Pap/Phen/PGE1) a godsend pending long-term efficacy. Daily Cialis. Tried LiESWT, Botox, PT-141, Eroxon, QST, DUS, Vertica, cabergoline, psychotherapy+hypnotherapy.

Keep us posted.
I’m gonna use the device myself as soon I recover from varicocele surgery.

Hopefully you get some nice results Tim. My friend was participating in that trial, but unfortunately his was a sham device.

BTW. For all willing, they're still recruiting for it in Cali, Florida and Texas:
https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT06167733?cond=Erectile%20Dysfunction&aggFilters=status:rec&term=vertica&rank=1
28 y/o, Poland, ED after heavy metal poisoning
Corporal fibrosis after ED - Traction + VED to regain size - seeing great results
Lost 1"L 0.5"G. Regained all length and 0.2"G.
Making money to afford implant, meanwhile trying everything else

At the end of the trial, participants are promised a real device regardless of which they had for the actual trial. Did your friend get one?

I'm gonna surprise you but no, he didn't - feeling down cause of receiving the sham device he returned it / discontinued the treatment, hence why he won't receive the real deal.

How did your friend work out it was a sham device? I’ve heard from another guy that it was very easy as the fake devices do not emit any heat, is that correct?
Age 57, ED issues for 15-20 years. Testosterone replacement with Enanthate and Ovidrel. Currently using generic Tadalafil 2.5mgs and Resveratrol daily.

I'm interested in the answer to this question. My device definitely is transmitting some kind of energy. There are on and off periods of tingling, not exactly pain but it can reach a level of discomfort.

Your profile looks like a complete list of ED devices and cures. Has anything been successful yet? How much money have you spent on all these fixes? IMHO it's time to take the plunge and get implanted.

I tend to break sex down into three parts: 1) libido, 2) erection, 3) orgasm. For number one, I've never had a problem. For number two, trimix is working very well for me now but the experiment is fairly new so the long-term effects are uncertain. Hence I keep trying anything I can find that might offer improvement. It's number three that concerns me most at this point.

No doubt, an implant is in my future. But for now, Tri-Mix is working; and also I don't think that an implant would cure the anorgasmia.

P. S. Probably pushing $20-25K :)

P. P. S. My profile didn't give me the room to list everything. There's more! I've had a Lumbar MRI and an awaiting a final surgeon appointment to review nerve issues that may be causing the anorgasmia.
