Anyone with severe ED had great results with shock wave treatment?

One of the newer treatments for ED, Shock Wave Therapy is still in it's experimental stages. While the treatment often sounds promising, it is only effective for a few patients and the results are not permanent. Informed Consumers are the best patients!

I've tried many sessions of shockwave with different devices. Shockwave is controversial and of limited proof of efficacy. Most all research on shockwave is in reference to shocking the corpora cavernosa to have angiogenesis of the tissue. Generally speaking, this is considered to have some impact on mild to moderate ED but not severe ED. Even though I've tried it, it is of limited interest to me because I'm quite happy with TriMix to get erections when and where I need them.

At even further reaches of the scientific community, the use of shockwave for nerve regeneration is very rare. But this is what I care the most about and have seen the most likely improvement attributable to shockwave. I've had nine sessions that target the pudendal and dorsal nerves and I'm signing up to do a quarterly touch up. Whereas shockwave for ED targets the corporate cavernosa and the perineum, shockwave for nerve regeneration is entirely different. I do 1,000 shocks each left and right of the spine (L4 to S2), 1,000 shocks each to the left and right perineum and 1,000 shocks along the dorsal nerve. The first 4,000 shocks target the pudendal nerve and the last 1,000 hit the dorsal nerve along the top (dorsal) edge of the penis.

Subjectively, I do detect greater sensitivity along the shaft of my penis; objectively my data that shows frequency of orgasmic success is much better. It's impossible to say whether this is actually working, but I'm encouraged enough that I have signed up for the quarterly boost.

The clinics that charge for shockwave therapy are the ONLY ones who get great result.

$$$$$$$$ for themselves.

No one else seems to have measurable or lasting benefit.

I’ve never heard of a treatment that works to regenerate nerves or blood vessels. If time and the bodies own ability to heal don’t do it, it doesn’t happen.

Sorry. The only treatments that are shown to actually work for ED are the well known prescription pills (Viagra/Cialis/Levitra/Stendra…), Shots (Monomix, BiMix, TriMix), or implant.

Using a VED to make the penis erect and then a constriction ring to trap the blood in the penis can work for some guys.

If you search FrankTalk for posts about Shockwave you will see they are all like yours, guys wondering if it works.

If it actually worked there would be posts of satisfied customers. Guys talking about their great surgeon or a doc or clinic that cured them. Guys talking about how they had treatment years ago and it cured them or gave them great results. You won’t find any of those posts.

I think Goodwood is right. In my own experience it was a complete waste of money and time. I had multiple treatments over a six month period with a leading practitioner and it did absolutely nothing. The only thing that has worked for me is my implant, which has been life changing. I should have used the wasted $$$ on that.
