Short answer: Common sense.
IF it truly works, then it wouldn't be something we speculate and wonder about. WE WOULD ALL DO IT WITHOUT HESITATION AND IT WOULD BE WIDELY KNOWN.
I just want to prevent others here desperate to cure our ailment which some opportunists prey on. Happened to me based on an 85% success rating to cure your ED. (Of course no warranty or money back guarantee, the $$$ is gone regardless if it actually works or if you are in the unlucky 15%)
If you only had to pay a couple grand for a non-invasive, instant fix to your ED, with no side effects, while only having to endure a piece of plastic rubbing up and down your dick for several 10- minute sessions, like these doctors and clinics promise......of course you would do it!!!!!!!
By now it would be common knowledge all over!!!
Ill even concede IF, big IF, even it does work for a very few, a tiny fraction, its nowhere near this false 85% they advertise to convince you to try it and fork over your hard earned $$$. But they need to propagate this lie because no one would buy this if 95% of customers are just throwing their $$ out the window with no guarantee.
I got suckered in. I just dont want any of you suffering the same fate. And if it did work for you somehow, congrats, You won the ED cure lottery with such an easy solution us others would dream of.

Did you have focused shockwave or some variant of radial shockwave (like Gainswave)? If you're not sure, the latter would be somewhat painful so is usually applied with some numbing gel.
Born 1954. Diabetes, hypertension, atherosclerosis. Sildenafil iffy. Tri-Mix 30/3/20 Pap/Phen/PGE1 godsend pending long-term efficacy. Daily Cialis. Tried LiESWT 4 times, Botox, PT141, Eroxon, QST, DUS, Vertica, Ferticare, cabergoline, psycho+hypnotherapy

To be honest I dont know. I do know it was the more expensive type of machine because when I was there I took a picture of it to compare whether they are using top end laser or not.
But I can say there was not any pain. There was a little gel though.

Re: Shockwave/Radiowave doesnt work. Here's why
I'm going to partially dissent here. I personally have gone through four rounds of focused shockwave treatment from two different doctors, and honestly cannot say whether it works. But this is just because I've tried so many other things that it's hard to scientifically analyze what works and doesn't work.
In this case, I tend to veer away from conspiracy theories. The hucksters who promote radial shockwave are truly scammers. But the number of doctors who are actually doing true focused shockwave are so few that I don't think the idea of large profits among a large number of providers holds water. Doctors like Irwin Goldstein and Mohit Khera have much more at stake in terms of their reputation than they have to gain from the small profits from performing shockwave. And while it's investigational in the US, it is approved in the EU for ED.
The 85% success rate the OP cites must come from the radial Shockwave charlatans. The credible docs I listen to who speak to focused shockwave always refer to it as having unknown success.
I believe the lack of testimonials is due to the fact that, if effective, it's effective at the margins. Folks with severe ED, who are likely to be those here on FT, are less likely to benefit.

I would guess if it was truly effective, you’d have no doubt about whether it worked or not. Regardless of whatever else you have done, you would see that sharp trend line of strong erections following the shockwave treatments.
Really effective treatments tend to speak for themselves.

“If it worked it would be widely known” is a fair observation, but it’s flawed.
The usual treatment protocol goes pde5is, ICI, implant if appropriate, vacuum if not.
That effectively treats 99% of men, and 99% of men are content enough with those treatments to take them.
Novel treatments like shockwave are for patients who are unable or unwilling to go through the usual treatment modalities, and want something non-invasive and side effect free. Shockwave may work for that, but it also comes with a lesser therapeutic effect, and not everyone will be strong responders. So it’s a bit shit, but at least it’s not got side effects. That’s why people like it.
PT141 has historically been more effective for me than tadalafil. It’s cheap, works within a few hours, has a good side effect profile, and unlike ICI or an implant, it won’t damage your penis. So why isn’t everyone talking about it? Because the ordinary treatments work just fine for most men.
What has had the biggest impact on my erectile function is my testosterone, estradiol, and the ratio between the two. That’s also an avenue for treatment that isn’t explored much, due again to the ordinary treatments working just fine for most men.
