Peyroines forum

Good to see this new section. I’m 3 years into my Peyroines and still on the fence about an implant. I can get hard, still have penetrating sex but have problems staying hard even with pills. I’ve lost quite a bit of size and the risk of losing more with an implant is terrifying.

Have you consulted a high-volume urologist that does implants and has experience with PD?

Peyrones will not stop and you have a curve. I had peyronies with plaque forming on both sides of the shaft. Dr Eid said nothing works except an implant. If you have a curve then it is another issue too. I was able to get erect but I was losing girth and length. I tried everything from pills to VED to acupuncture but nothing helped or stopped the dents and nodules forming.

The best thing to do now for you is to start using the VED to keep the blood flow to your dick. Once it gets to the point of plaque forming,......

As Sogwap said let make an appointment with a urologist. Good luck to you!

Thanks guys. As of right now my plan is to go to a high volume implanter sometime in 2024. Experience with Peyroines will be my primary criteria. Right now I can get hard with pills but it becomes unstable unless it’s 110% hard. Wife spits it out of her pussy like a watermelon seed if it starts to hinge upward. Because I was over 6 inches in circumference I’m thinking the Titan is a better match but of course the doctor is the expert, not me. In the meantime I’m trying to focus on weight loss to get rid of the pubic fat since that has exacerbated the size loss. I’m really worried about losing more length in the procedure but I’m doing my best to get over that issue which has been very distressing. My advice to new Peyroines victims is to pay attention to your psychological state of mind. Over 25% of PD sufferers go into a depression like I did. Physicians should be more aware of this correlation as the depression can be treated.

I would be interested to hear if any implanted brothers with PD maintained or gained length. Also the surgeons Eid, Cavell and Haaky come up often as the best in implantation of PD sufferers. Any others come to mind I should have on my list?

I had PD, high blood pressure, low T( which probably had a hand in the PD). Right around the 60 mark, started learning about the implant. Viagra would rarely work and when it did, it didn't last. I had the implant done in April. Don't regret it.
A year before surgery I started using a pump. That helped in getting to PD back on course for being straight. It also helped me regain size. In my prime I was 6+1/2-7 length and 6 girth. Now I'm 6 length, 5+3/4 girth. Doc says I will probably gain 1/4-1/2 length and some in girth.
The con is the pain you go through to get there and being comfortable with the way it feels deflated. After 5 months I'm totally comfortable going nude at a clothing optional place. The pros outweigh the cons. Man, in a couple of minutes I'm ready to go. I highly recommend the implant as long as you know what you're getting into, know what to expect and have no regrets.

Im about a year into PD and have surgery scheduled for 9/12. I didnt see the benefit in waiting. I have been pumping for about a 2 months and have been quite regimented about it the last 30 days at twice daily for 10-15 minutes.
I dont think Ive lost significant size. I was 6.5” x 6.375. My length is now about 6” but the curve makes it hard to measure. My girth is about 5.875 at the outward 1/3 progressing to 6.5 at the base. Like anyone Im concerned with loss but if Im close to where I am now with a hard, non hinged and hourglassed skyhook, Ill be happy!

Any chance you can take a photo of the PD before you get the implant? I’ve been searching for photos to see what kind of deformity the injections might cause.

I have tried, unfortunately my ed makes it difficult to get a pic that shows the issues. I cant maintain an erection long enough to get a pic….
There are plenty of pics on the net. Mine is an upward curve likely from injury rather than injections which tend to cause plaque on the sides of the penis. Injections likely exacerbated the issue but its not conclusive that they caused the issue solely

I am happy to share that PD can be corrected with an implant. I was a 90 degree left bend about one inch from the base. My erect penis was pretty useless even with effective ICI trimix. The hinge effect was awful.
I had nightmares before surgery after watching YouTube videos of deglove and graft procedures being preformed in conjunction with implants.
In the end the surgeon was able to approach the scar tissue from the penascrotal incision. He cut the coarse scar out and went ahead to install the implant. No deglove necessary.
7 months post surgery I am very pleased with the result. The surgeon recommended that I keep my penis in an upright position and slightly to the right side while dressed. That was a mind game because I always think folks will notice the slight bulge . I tend to wear my shirts untucked. I believe I will just get used to the look after a while and stop thinking about it. The advice was that this would prevent the penis from tending left while erect. It works nicely. I have about 6 inches with a bit of an upward curve which is very effective at pleasing my wife. I am not able to reach organum with sexual intercorse but I am for now happy that she is satisfied in spades. I am 65 and have had 25 years of severe back issues.
Everyone has a story and I am grateful to have gotten the implant.
