Viable semen?

Postby Thefarmer » Sun Aug 11, 2019 4:18 pm

Just wondering if a man will still have viable semen once his prostate is removed? I know that the amount of cum produced is practically nil.. but there is still a little bit of joy juice after climax. I would like to know if that little bit of juice still contains sperm?
Age 71, diagnosed with prostate cancer 5 years ago. Had surgery and radiation to kill cancer cells. Have had problems with ED ever since. Pills worked ok for a while, Pumped but did not like the" choke hold" of the bands.. Trimix is great!

Well, you dirty old man. Still worrying about getting some sweet young thing pregnant?
I am not a doctor, but it has been explained to me that you are now sterile. RP entails a vasectomy and no sperm will be leaving the building. My vasectomy was many years ago and much before the RP, but it made me totally harmless to the ladies. In addition, the carrying fluid is necessary to get those little sperms to the right place in her. You've noticed there's none of that.
Have fun, you won't be fathering any children going forward.

As long as your testicles are producing viable sperm and there is a complete channel from them to you urethra, then you have viable sperm.

After a prostatectomy no semen (cum) comes out when you have an orgasm. Mine feel 99% the same, just no feeling of that liquid shooting through my penis and out into wherever. :)

The Copower gland can produce up to 10 mg of pre-ejaculate material. It is a clear fluid that precedes the main ejaculation of sperm. It is the fluid that clears the urethra of urine and provides a neutral ph for the sperm. It can carry sperm from the testicles. Read up on pre ejaculate fluid or commonly called precut.

Yes, since the Cowper's glands are completely separate from the prostate, I have precum like I have had in the past, even without a prostate.
