I see nothing wrong with getting info from other people dealing with same or similar conditions.

Right... not like I’m going to insist I get X medication because someone on an ED forum has success with X. But it gives insight into the possibilities.

Oral phentolamine mesylate 40 mg (brand names Vasomax, Vigamed, Vasoviril) is an excellent ED treatment that also lowers blood pressure but heart patients shouldn't take it and I have no idea if it's the right solution in your case. Talk to your urologist first and ask him about oral phentolamine.

Are you taking Testosterone? IF so it may make your red blood cell count high, increasing your blood pressure.

Hi Evinrude, CK out my signature and you'll know what I've been thru. On that note, I'm on 25 mg of Metropol, low dose , but it keeps me fairly even. BP runs about 137 on a good day, but never over 145. If I use any salt at meals or snacks, it does spike, so I try not to use much salt. It does raise BP. For some reason before I inject it will spike, maybe the excitement of the unknown, cause I'm only 10 injections into this. Try to stay away from salt, before any serious activity. ie like sex. If you feel like your BP is too high or feel light headed, dizzy or just funky with your heart racing, there's probably a good reason. GO TO YOUR CARDIOLOGIST, don't mess around with it. Trust me it's no fun having an elephant sitting on your chest, been there, hurts like hell!

Also I agree with the guys, if you have a cuff, then keep track of your BP . If you don't my suggestion is to get one.

I add Hydrochlorothiazide

You regularly take an ace inhibitor/calcium blocker combo. On the days you add a diuretic what does your blood pressure do?
Married 50+ years. Use VED for sex and do
daily exercises with both water and vacuum pumps.
