ED/Testosterone Specialist (please help me)

Hi all,

I live in the Boston area and am looking to find a reputable ED/Testosterone specialist in Massachusetts to see that will actually listen to me. I have seen many different places and doctors online, but when I look them up they always have awful reviews and I am getting very overwhelmed. Can somebody recommend someone for me? I am even willing to travel to states like CT, RI, NH, etc. if it means actually getting listened to. I am 23 years old experiencing a lot of symptoms (and have been for a while if you have seen my past posts). Testosterone level was last checked in 2019 at 258 ng/dl. I just need someone that can take me seriously. Cost is also a worry for me, so I am looking for a doctor that is covered under my BCBS HMO plan preferably.

If anyone could help me out that would be great. I just need some changes to be made in my life and I don't want to deal with expensive bullshit or being told that I am young and it is all in my head when the numbers tell otherwise. No sex therapists, no antidepressants. I need answers for these chronic issues. Thank you so much to whoever can help me. Very thankful for this place as a support.

I'd go to a compounding pharmacy and ask for the names of some doctors who prescribe testosterone.
If you end up wanting testosterone, self-injecting is the best way to go.

Be advised that your testicles will shrink a lot.
I don't know how that affects fertility.

Maybe I have it backwards and you should see a doc first then do what I did?

My GP ran blood work that indicated low Z. I then went to my URO. And discussed the possibility of starting TRT. Being a Prostate Cancer patient we discussed the pros and cons. He was ready to give me a script. I waited and weighed the pros and cons and decided to start. That was 2 years ago. So far I am very pleased. I have had a few hiccups. Red cell count too high. Had to start giving blood at the blood bank. It has been a positive for me. Good luck in finding a Dr that will listen and do the blood work.
