Venous leak?

Postby Tellmehow » Wed Mar 18, 2020 6:16 am

I am a 25 year old, healthy and fit male. I've been experiencing ED since the beginning of 2019. I'm able to get an erection, but it rapidly goes down with no stimulation. When I get erect, I can see my penis losing blood right when stimulation is stopped. Lose solid hardon within 5-10 seconds. Is it for sure venous leak or it is possible that my symptoms are due to PIED or extreme anxiety? With porn, there is also need for constant stimulation to maintain my erection.
Thanks

There are numerous reasons men are unable to maintain erections. I suggest you go to a urologist who specializes in men's health or men's sexual dysfunction. You can get answers here, but they may not be the right answer for you.

I did have a Venous Leak and like you I required constant stimulation. Mine was also position dependent so I could get hard while flat on my back, but not in other positions. I could get morning wood that was very hard and lasted until I moved.

I hope you find out the cause of your problem and are able to get help. You are at such a great age to be able to enjoy sex. Best wishes.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Usually, if you are able to maintain an erection under any circumstance (stimulation, morning/night wood, etc.,) you are not suffering with “traditional” venous leak. A veneous leak is a faulty valve that is unable to prevent blood from draining out of the penile chambers. An urologist can perform tests to confirm the existence of a full veneous leak.

For several years, injections were able to generate sufficient blood to offset my venous leak, but eventually, the injections could not generate enough blood flow and I had to settle for a VED and a tension band to generate and maintain an erection.

Tanks so much for your answer. If I watch porn and almost constantly stimulate my penis I can keep a full erection for more than 20 minutes until I ejaculate... in oral sex I’m fine too, But when it comes to penetration I lose my erection but by using even 12.5 mg of Viagra I’m able to do several rounds of intercourse...For some reasons I’m not able to get a doppler test done now... So, I wanted to see if others with venous leak have similar situation.
