Hi all I have lurked on this forum for quite a while now I am need of advice as it seems like people here know their stuff. Well it's pretty embarrasing but I caused ED but trying out jelqing and stretching techniques like 9 years ago or so. I was very stupid and niave to even attempt to enlarge my penis but my penis size insecurity got the better of me. Well I caused 2 seperate injuries the first was jelqing almost erect I belief which resulted in the glans not enflating fully however I could still maintain a hard erection. Stupidly I tried manual stretching exercises as i thought they would be safer and I completely avoided any jelqing. Well I messed up again because my penis immedately shrunk up and retracted like to a size of a peanut I scared the hell out of me and I'm not sure how long it took to go back to it's normal size. I fear I had some sort priapism as I think the blood flow was restricted for a while. Since then erections were harder to keep and it's got worse of the years. Today I'm at the point where I have-moderate ED, even staying hard for a minute is very difficulity my guess is I have a Venous Leak and blood simply isn't being closed off during an erection, possible soft tissue or Tunica damage from stretching?
Other problems:
Morning erections are rare as soon as I get up it's gone in seconds
Night time erections, I don't think I get them that much
Random erections are rare as well and weak if I do actually get them
Glans are pretty soft and small when I get erect sometimes they're more engorged but it's like the blood won't stay in the head and when I'm really aroused I can't get the glans to fully inflate, maybe half the size.
I tend to dribble when I ejaculate, less cum
Flacid penis feels generally firm
Constant manual stimulation required to maintain any hardness
Low sex drive never really seem to feel truly horny unless I watch porn or something
Less sensitivity
I have been to several doctors and they all said it's "in my head" I had blood tests, test for Testosterone levels etc which all came back normal. I've only seen one uroligist who resfused to do any physical tests.
I have tried a few things, like Gingko I noticed a slight improvement after a few weeks. Kegels which do give me harder erections and improved glans inflation but it's hard to stay erect. I still do Kegels to prevent penile atrophy (whcih I think my is going through) but they're no cure. I also try and masturbate daily if possible otherwise it feels like my penis is losing energy if I stop masturbating.
I assume I have irreversible soft tissue/Tunica damage which has resulted in a Venous Leak (blood won't stay in during erection). What's worse though is that I'm still a virgin (I'm in my late 20's now) and I have little confidence in approaching women or attempting sex with them when even masturbating solo can be a problem and to be honest it' often feels like a chore. I honestly feel that I'm screwed the damage is done and this all happened so many years ago now. It looks like I may need a penile implant If I want to be able to have sex at all because my penis just can't seem to hold blood in. It's werid though becasue It seems like either I get weak, somewhat hard erections or I can barely even get an erection at all almost like I'm jerking off with a flacid/semi penis.
I know I'm stupid and I deeply regret what I did to my penis (my penis size was fine when look back) but I just want to fix this issue the best way I can I can If I need a penile implant so be it because at this rate I will never have sex or any sexual experiences period I may as well be a monk right now.
I have accepted the fact that my penis is probably ruined and some sort of surgery will be needed so I can have some hope of having sex successfully and normally.
What are your thoughts on this can anyone relate?
Thanks

As long as you're breathing, there is hope for a solution--perhaps a solution short of surgery. Have you tried any of the pills--viagra, cialis, levitra? Have you tried injections? Bimix-trimix-quadmix, etc?

sounds like you are on anti depressents.
I dont think any dr would do a implant on you at this point.
You need to ger with a girl and try it out before you do anything else.
It sounds like signs of depression or another underlying cause.

Hmmm. There is a clue in what you wrote about the penis feeling hard when flaccid. There is a condition called "Hard Flaccid" which is caused by injury usually - but is a pelvic floor tension disorder. Go to www.hardflaccid.org Google anything about hard flaccid you can. See if any of it rings a bell. The creator of that site and I are talking about cooperating on this,

No because I can't get my hands on them here in the UK you have to get your doctors approval in order to use Viagra, Cialis etc I know you can get them online too but I've heard that it can be risky and taking Viagra bought online can be dangerious.

No but I think they might work because the main issue I have is not being able to maintain an erection most of the time I'd be lucky to stay hard for even a minute.

I don't have depression I think and I'm not taking any anti depressents either. You're right though I need to try and have sex with a woman and then I'll really know if i have a problem. The thing is though I have trouble keeping a good erection even masturbating so what chance do I have penetrating a woman? I get the impression from the doctors I have seen and one uroligist that because I haven't had sex or I'm not sexually attactive they won't take my ED seriously If I lied about being a virgin maybe they would of. It is possible though to be a virgin and have phsyical ED. I don't know for sure but considering the stiupid things I did when I was younger like pulling on my penis and jelqing I probably caused some permanent damage I think, my worry is having Venous Leakage which you all know is very hard to cure. However my erection problems maybe mental as well because. I remember a few years ago I got a fleshlight (when I moved house I binned it) I was getting good erections really stiff and the glans were more engorged my erection didn't collapse so quickly it stayed firm on it's own without me needing to constant jerk it. I haven' t got rock hard erections like that since though that must been like 4 years ago something.

Yeah I've seen that website it's pretty interesting although most of the guys there didn't get a hard flacid through PE which I did. I think my penis is firmer due to interal soft tissue damage or something their's is something else. Although I have the firm feeling in my flacid penis a lot I have noticed that doing Kegels softens up my flacid penis and it feels more normal and spongy but I still find staying erect very difficult it's like there is no internal pressure when erect. When I'm pretty aroused I can get a fairly hard erection but I just seem keep it at all, even for a minute would be a miracle. I honestly don't know what the problem is but I fear it is a mechanical faiure like Venous Leakage and Penile Atrophy.
Re: Injuried my penis years ago, I might need a penile implant?
You need to find a good uroligist/surgeon who is willing to rule out all the different causes of ed. My Dr. ran several blood test to check testosterone, cholesterol, glucose A1c, because all those can cause ed. If venous leakage is suspected.. a penile utrasound wwill confirm or rule it out. I guess its possible that you damaged your penis, but a good Dr. is the only one who can make that determination with the emphasis on good. Good luck.
55 years old. ED since 2002 total venous leakage after penile fracture. Tried all the pills and injections all failed to help. Some success with VED, but felt too unnatural to both of us, seldom used. Implanted 06/21/12. Trying to wear IT out.

Hi TryingToFixMe
Just a few words about your condition. There is a chance you are taking too hard on you about what you did in the past. It is quite possible your condition is genetic rather than anything like a damage from jelquing or stretching.
The symptoms your are describing are pretty much identical to mine though I've never in the past did any damage as I was not even aware of those "enlarging techniques".
So if you have a predisposition for the venous leak you do not need to blame your past. It is just mother nature causing the regression over time. But that doesn't mean you have to give up. I've started using traction device + pumping + jelquing less than a year ago when I finally found out that the problem was not in my head and indeed do I have venous leak. Unfortunately this is not curable so my only option is an implant but I am OK with that. So I do daily penile exercise for gaining length before I get shorter after the surgery. Since I've started I've gained an inch which is not too bad...
Also chances are you are experiencing the performance anxiety. This condition can get improved with the boosted self confidence. How to achieve that? Well, since you are single and afraid of getting close with a girl, if I were you what would I do is I would hire a middle-aged prostitute. Seriously! She is at work and has seen many different cases. Just tell her honestly that you are virgin, you have a performance anxiety and see what she can do for you. You do not need to be romantic with her, nether should you care what she thinks about you - you are just buying a service.
You might be surprised with the output if you get a real professional rather than some cheap, drug addicted one. You might need try that several times...
That might help you to gain an initial self-confidence that would help you to build solid relationships with a girl. Then when your relationships will be solid and stable you could discuss with your woman further steps, including an implant.
Cheers!

I saw this post and the reference to prostitutes and had to comment. To be honest, I have often done search's for the word to see if anyone else references the subject or the option of a "sex therapist". That of course is the name I apply to such ladies since the ones I have seen truly are therapists. You do have to be careful, both in their knowledge of our problem and of course health concerns. All that aside, for those who are single or are struggling with their sexuality and performance, this is definitely a option that is all too often either not discussed of dismissed due to social and legal implications.

I found this thread interersting and I wish you the best. Some of your symptoms sound similiar to mine but several don't line up with my experience. First a question, before the stretching and/or jelquing were you able to get and maintain a decent erection? Did you lose your erections quickly (from the manipulation) or over time? Did it happen suddenly? You obviously have a reason to think you caused this, why? You may need a doppler utrasound. Do your research there is alot of error if these are done incorrectly or by someone who is not experienced. You should look into this and make sure whoever does it is experienced and can induce a full erection. You may have a physical issue, but the mental factors always play a role to some extent. Best wishes to you.
