I had a radical Davinci robotic prostatectomy in 2013 with removal of the erectile nerve (it was covered with cancer). I had a penile implant in 2017 which works. My penis has the normal sensations of a finger, so I feel touch, pressure, heat/cold, etc. but did not feel sensual. The urologist suggested that I use a vibrator of whatever strength necessary to feel more sensual. She offered to give me a prescription for various products to that end, but said I might find cheaper products online that could work as well. The goal was to eventually achieve an orgasm, which I told her I had been led to believe was possible. She agreed the orgasmic nerves were intact but possibly traumatized or damaged and the stimulation would help. Three years later, my penis feels sensuality, but if I ever have an orgasm it is an hour and a half after I start using a powerful vibrator.
Has anybody had any luck getting an orgasm after a radical prostatectomy, and if so, how?
Orgasm after prostatectomy?

Estim, E-stim, Electro stim, Electro stimulation. Search using those terms.
Basically, one runs electrical energy thru one's penis using a Tens device or a device specifically designed for sexual pleasure. I found that the impulse reached nerves producing pleasant sexual sensations. Go to Smartstim.com (it costs you nothing and provides a wealth of information). It takes a little practice to make it work.
The electrical current is very low so you won't be burning your dick off but there are simple safety rules to follow so you don't make it unpleasant.

Retired. R.P. 2016. Bilateral nerve sparing surgery. Now use .15cc of Bimix twice weekly & anorgasmia, moderately incontinent. Wife no longer interested so go solo with Electro-stim using Erostek ET-312. Now am Type 2 diabetic.
Re: Orgasm after prostatectomy?
Michael,
I too had a radical Davinci robotic prostatectomy and cancer was found in the margins with resultant nerve damage. I can relate too well with your predicament. I don't otherwise understand your personal situation, relationship wise or in any other respect. I also don't have any great answers or suggestions, sorry. You, we, are physically damaged. We have to accept and deal with the way things now are. I'm just full of joy and optimism aren't I. Sorry about that!
I do think there are things we can do to help our situations, so don't give up. I'm not ready to share suggestions at the moment. I'll think about it. I do wonder if you're overusing the vibration devices to the point of numbing your nerve ending further.
For now I'll just wish you luck and remind you that you're not alone.
