Anyone Here Had Shock Wave Therapy?
Anyone Here Had Shock Wave Therapy?
Has anyone here has shock wave therapy done on their penis? If so what was the result? How much was it? Was it worth it?
Re: Anyone Here Had Shock Wave Therapy?
I have no experience with it. There have been a number of posts on the topic. I believe the general consensus was that it was expensive and not effective. You should search the forum for that topic.
R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.
Re: Anyone Here Had Shock Wave Therapy?
I had it six times with poor results. Waste of money.
It seems that the new trend is to take 5 mg Cialis before the treatment. That might help. If you will try it you should talk about this with the doctor. In theory shockwave (=same thing) is good alternative but the procedure is very new. They must do some adjustments to it. Use more power etc.

65 yrs, had venous leak all my life, sildenafil and other pills don't work anymore properly, using Caverject with pills.

Been there done that, as it were! Effective for a short period of time but did not last.
At the time the treatment was $300 each with six recommended to get expected results.
Was not a good investment, for me! Can’t say for you as people respond differently to treatments. As they say it’s your money, spend what you want. I even did the P Shot which was temporary too, that one shot was $1600. It’s crazy how much we spent to get a hard cock!

Diagnosed venous leak. Going with injections rather than implant for the time being.

Very sorry to hear that. But I think its the quality of machine they use that can spell the diff between effective and dud.

Hi etguy,
Appreciate your feedback! As I've mentioned in the reply in the post above I think when it comes to shock wave its the equipment that counts based on what I've read upon the subject. Some shock wave machines are better than others. Granted I'm no expert, far from it. But after reading the replies from this thread I think its best that I skip considering using shock wave.
Regarding PRP or p shot I tried it 7 years ago with amazing results. I had a followup done 2 years ago which didnt do shit at all. We're all in the same boat.
