ED

Postby sluggun » Thu Nov 08, 2012 11:58 am

Hi
Been having problems with erections for two years, I have seen a uroligist at the local hospital who has tried various things, (cialis. testogel, muse) nothing so far has worked.
I also have spondalosis in the neck and lower back with pain in the left testicle and stable angina, taking the usual tablets for that.
can the back problem be the cause of ED and the pain in the tesicle, the reason for asking i had facet injections (lower back) in June this year wich stopped the pain in the testicle for about two weeks then it slowly came back.
any advice would be welcome, thanks.

Shogun,

You are probably guessing right about back pain possible contributing to ED ... if you google that you find tons or articles. Not sure about the testical pain from back pain -- could be. And probably any medication for back pain might contribute to ED also -- a bummer.

Also with your angina/heart disease, not only does that contribute to ED all by itself, but all of the medications used to treat it will also contribute to ED. Bummer times two.

So you are between a rock and a not-hard place.

I see nothing about you trying Alprostadil shots or Trimix?? Even if MUSE did not work well, direct shots might do better (and cost less). They are nothing really -- just a pinch of pain so don't be afraid to try them.

Good hunting for more info ...

I have had 7 back surgeries. I can tell you with 100% conviction that back surgeries and the resulting nerve damage from the damaged caused by the deteiration of your discs most certainly will give you problems. Not to mention the side effects of the meds they will give you and the havoc they will cause. I have been fighting with my spinal degeneration for 19 years not to mention kidney disease. Having great luck with the pills. I'd be happy to chat with youanytime about any of this. I can tell you ,most likely the testicle pain is from a nerve depression in your spinal particularly if the pain was dimished after the steriod injections. I wish you all the best and I feel your pain.

Like you I have had 7 laminectomies and 21 fusions and even though I had a top notch nuerosurgeon
I believe many of my physical problems are caused by all these surgeries. I also have stage 2 kidney and stage 3
liver failures. My most recent blood work up showed liver issues. I have been on Androgel for 1 year and
just recently switched to Axiron. I guess I'm a little concerned. Also just started VED therpy to slow down
peis atrophy.

Padreest,
Hi If I was you I would frist sit down with all your meds, and google the side effects, I think your main problem is there in them, then Google back problems and ED, but you could if you find any meds that could be given you problems, your doctor may be able to find something differant to ease your ED problems.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck
