Is there any insurance that covers name brand viagra or where to get it cheaper?

Postby Fonzie » Thu Feb 04, 2021 10:22 am

Hey guys!!!! I have found that generic doesn’t really work for me. There is a huge night n day difference but name brand viagra is way out of my price range. Is there any insurance that covers it or is there a way to get it cheaper. I had a 100 mg pill and I cut it into fourths and it worked perfectly. I had a 50 mg generic n it worked but just for a minute where name brand viagra worked for hours with less dosage. Thank you all

Viagra is now off patent protection. You can get generic Sildenafil from traditional drug manufacturers which are covered by Medicare and I assume private insurers as well..

I used GoodRX coupon. I found Costco the cheapest in my area. $45 for 90 tabs of 100mg. It is generic but it is the cheapest, safest alternative when compared to online. Also the Cialis prices are similar for the 20mg tabs.

I doubt you'll find name brand Viagra at a cheap price now that it's generic. Up until around 2013 my insurance would pay for Viagra, my co-pay was $60 for 9 100mg pills. Before I took the plunge to get implanted (2018) asked my doc for one more trial of Viagra. When I picked them up I got 2 pills of generic and my co-pay was $100!

Heck with your local pharmacy. Mine compounds their own trocheys. It’s a little square soft tablet that you melt between your gum and lip it’s been very effective! I did have weak results from generic pills though. Also the trochies were not covered by insurance but only cost $40 for 30-20mg
