Penile implant

Postby MarkAli » Thu Aug 19, 2021 12:06 pm

So I wanted to ask to those who used to have rock hard erections in the past but then developed venous leak, how is the feeling of "rock hard pressure and hardness in the penis" after you get an implant compared to how it was when you had natural and normal erections? Is it the same? And if it is the same, how is it possible since they destroy a part of your corpora cavernosa during the operation?

I have to say it feels pretty much the same. When I inflate fully it feels nice and firm. When I get excited my glans will swell a little. It is way better than pills or injections. The best part is after orgasm it stays firm.

I don't know because I've heard it's really not comparable no a normal boner even in feelings. I mean if it was like that it would mean that it'd be the definitive and best solution for all the young men who are facing ED so everyone would just get one and problem solved

Sometimes it sounds like it's a choice that we can make for other than a dick that no longer works.
I can say that the difference between a natural and implanted dick isn't very great if the surgeon is competent.

I have to disagree with my implant I'm as hard as nails. I was NEVER this hard before even in my teens.

You can’t believe everything you hear. Then again you can’t believe everything you see on the internet or in social media. And you sure as hell cant believe all the advertising claims if the box says “as seen on TV.”

That being said, I will be another vote for “a competent surgeon can give you a result where the difference is minimal.” In my case, everything is better than before. Granted, it (my cock) is a tiny bit shorter and thinner but way harder. That hardness has amplified the sensations I get and all things considered, I like the implant waaaay better than anything.

People need to quit thinking that 65 year old guys have probably had enough sex and we would find it tiresome or boring. That itch never seems to go away. But I digress.

The bottom line real deal is the candidate for an implant needs to be knowledgeable, a partner instead of the recipient in the health care process, and needs to find a quality doctor who can deliver a quality outcome. You check those boxes, sex with an implant is as good as if not better than sex without an implant.

Yeah but the problem is I ain't 65 years old and pills are not working that much anymore. I'm just 20 so I don't know about this implant decision. Also you didn't get the point... if it is like you say then why doesn't everybody just get one and problem solved? You said you have a venous leak since forever so you mean that you were born with it right? If that's the case how can you know the differrence between a natural and normal boner and an implanted one?

Mark: Lost Sheep has some pretty good advice in taking several days to read lots of prior posts on the subject. Had you done that, you might have stumbled across other places where I addressed my version of ED. I don’t know what caused my venous leaks. It might have been injury as a kid, I was pretty wild and active. It might have been congenital. All I know is when I collided with puberty head on, I started getting rock hard erections and thinking about ways to use them. Mine lasted a minute or two, maybe three. I didn’t know that was abnormal.

If the only erection you’ve ever dealt with is your own, then THAT is the norm.

In the days of heroic levels of stimulation being applied in a valiant but vain attempt to keep a natural erection (ie pounding the rock like there is no tomorrow) invariably, in the 20-30 seconds right before ejaculation, my arterial flow would far surpass the venous leakage for a brief period and I would get a hard, throbbing erection and then shoot. That ability continued with shots, then shots+pills, for a long time. If I had not had that capability then I would no doubt have had to deal with some serious depression. Fighting ED all your life isn’t for the faint of heart, and there are battles lost on the way to winning the war.

The last thing on earth I’d do is advise you or anyone else to get implanted. To me, this place is about sharing experience-good, bad, indifferent. I will readily admit I’ve been luckier than many. I did injections for nearly 35 years with no scarring or Peyronies. Pills didn’t work by themselves but as shots were losing effectiveness, viagra boosted their benefit. My surgery went real well. So yeah, I’ve been lucky and I’m well pleased with outcome.

I will tell you flat out: if you have serious doubt, don’t do it. Your body, your choice. I think every man looking at the surgery has some misgivings but down deep, those who do it know it’s the best right thing. If you don’t know it’s the right thing, call a halt and re-evaluate. You can change your mind and do it later. But once done, it cannot be undone.

The fact that I am implanted and pleased doesn’t mean anyone else is or should be. I’ll apologize if I gave that impression. I think outlook and expectations are important in the recovery and satisfaction level. If you don’t really believe that it’s the right choice, it probably isn’t.

First of all thanks for your time and for your opinion :D.
Yeah the depression you were talking about it's exactly what I'm facing since I was 16. The reason why my brain developed this dark depression is that my boners were rock hard and fine until I was 15, they were perfect in every situation and that kinda made me happy. And then when I was about to reach my 16s, venous leak started. At that time I knew that my situation was uncurable and that the only thing I could have tried were pills and injections, facing that reality is what made me develop serious depression, because my brain basically can't live without that feeling that I used to have so I just feel like everything is empty and emotionless. My boners are flaccid even when you are about to ejaculate by the way
