Wives, girlfriends thoughts?
Would like to know honest opinions of wives, girlfriends, etc., as to their thoughts on all our issues, pills, pumps, shots, implants, the whole gambit! I know they'll have to register to post, but maybe with having some anonymity they could be completely honest as to the affect it has on them. If there's already a post here for that I apologize, I missed it.
Retired 65 y.o. Married. Moderate ED since 2019. Use constriction band ocassionately to help maintain erection, or Cialis/Viagra. Nocturnal/morning erections returning with VED usage. Lower libido than before.

Women are not allowed to be members of the site and there isn't any provision for input from them other than you relating what they've said. That's the moderator's/site owners decision plus there at least used to be members here that were adamantly against female participation to the point, IMHO, of appearing misogynic. In other words, it ain't gonna happen.

ED reddit thread would be a good place to maybe ask these kinds of questions..

I'm using a VED, Rings and plenty of lube. Wife says my member looks and feels strange and compared to how it felt many years ago (before ED). I think she means it's very rigid and has hardly no flexibility plus the lube makes it shiny. At our age, she has more difficulty finding a comfortable position than I now have getting an erection since I solved the problem. I also think she thinks I am crazy trying all these ED remedies.

My wife loves the implant, says she likes the extra thickness that it stretches her vagina and rubs on her clit better than before. Her orgasms are a lot more intense

Yes no women allowed please; this is a men's club LOL!
However here is my wife's opinion- After sex one night I asked her if I never got my implant could she live the rest of her life without sex? She immediately answered "NO". Enough said.

My wife's favorite position is with her in her bedroom and me in mine. Works for us.

dg, now that's too funny! My wife and I sleep in separate rooms too, mainly for our sanity, lol. No really because it just works better, she gets up a lot at night, and some snoring on both our parts, it let's both of us (mainly me) sleep better. Only been doing it for a year now, it works for us and we're still in love after 30+ years.
Bldoink, I hear ya on the women, NO GIRLS ALLOWED, thanks..

Re: Wives, girlfriends thoughts?
For me, pills worked some early on, my wife was good with those while they worked - allowed for a mostly normal sex life briefly. They didn't work for long for me (probably should have started them earlier), and after my heart attack they were no longer an option.
VED was next. Was able to get decent erections for a few months, but it never worked well for intercourse. With no blood circulating my penis grew cold fairly quickly. A big turn off for my wife as it would cause her to basically flinch and tense up when trying to insert it. While she continued to try to work with it for a while, eventually it became a deal breaker. The anxiety that went with it - knowing what was coming - a cold unnatural feeling dildo basically - was too much. I know others on here have had better experiences, but this was ours.
Injections... mixed results here - even at the strongest mixture of trimix, I did not achieve an erection suitable for intercourse. But... with the increased blood flow my penis got quite warm which was a big turn-on for my wife. Unfortunately I experienced pain with the injections that sometimes got in the way of real pleasure for me. I still get refills on the prescription periodically and inject a smaller amount. Still brings the heat and not so much pain. More for her than me.
Implant. was planning to get one last October. Scheduled and insurance approved. Unfortunately, my banked paid vacation time came up short and disability wasn't going to kick in as quickly due to a carrier change at work leaving me set up for a financial crisis if anything went less than perfect. I know better than to play with those odds. Looking at revisiting for next summer or fall assuming there's hospital beds available for elective procedures; there's not here right now. My wife is unsure about this. She's supportive because she knows I want it. She's apprehensive because of my overall health (see signature) and because she's menopausal and concerned about her ability to engage in and enjoy sex after that change.
