I dont need a medical site to tell me what I've experienced. I was circumcised at age 26 and have experienced sex both with and without a foreskin.

Sex is FAR better with a foreskin because the glans is far more sensitive, plus you still have the thousands of nerves in the foreskin which circumcised guys don't have.
44, ED problems began around age 28 when I was on finasteride for hair loss, and also got circumcised so I lost a lot of sensation. Pills gave me bad headaches and other side effects. Now using trimix 30/1/20. So far so good.

I’m 31 from England and I’ve had Erectile Dysfunction ever since I was circumcised in 2019. From a surgical perspective, the circumcision went exactly as expected without any complications, it’s a perfectly normal looking circumcision, so there’s nothing unusual about it in that regard.
The problem is is that it caused me ED and premature ejacultion. I have had a complete loss of sensation and I haven’t had a single spontaneous erection since the surgery (I used to have 5-10 per day). I feel a deep loss of attraction too, a month ago I had a naked 10/10 Polish girl infront of me and I didn’t even feel aroused. There is a symbiotic relationship between the highly sensitive foreskin and the brain, previously when I used to feel my foreskin moving about in my pants my brain would light up with a feeling of Eurphoria which would give me a rock hard erection, now I don’t have any sensitive skin so I don’t have the same response in the brain.

Since I’ve had this problem I’ve tried a couple of things in order to try and improve my situation.
-Firstly I had Low Intensity Shockwave therapy, which improved things slightly but the gains subsided 3 weeks after treatment.
-Easily the best thing I’ve done is foreskin restoration using a Cat stretcher. This has almost eliminated my premature ejaculation. It has also vastly improved my ability to maintain an erection.
The biggest problem I have is being able to trigger an erection which is very difficult because I’ve lost all sensation and I don’t really feeling aroused. I still haven’t had a a Spontaneous erection despite the success I’ve had with foreskin restoration.
My plan for the future is to have Stem Cell therapy, I’m pretty much willing to try anything to solve this problem. In reality the only thing that could fully solve my problem is a Foregen Lab grown foreskin, which is probably years/decades off. In the meantime I plan on finding a solution that at least improves things.
Thanks for your time.

This exact same thing happened to me. I was circumcised at age 26 and that's when my ED problems started. I was shocked at how much sensation I lost. After having uncircumcised sex, having circumcised sex felt like I was wearing about 10 layers of condoms.

And how could it not? Your glans is no longer protected by the foreskin and is rubbing against your clothes 24/7, leading to rapid desensitization as it dries and thickens to protect itself.

Then add in the all the thousands of nerves you lose by cutting off the foreskin.

Guys who were circumcised young don't know what they're missing.

Of course, I also started propecia around that same time, and that's known to cause ED too, so i experienced a double whammy.

It's both. Before circumcision, I could feel a whisper of wind on my glans. A feather would be enough to tickle or stimulate it. Now I feel NOTHING from light sensations like that because of the reduced sensation from constant rubbing against my clothes.

I’d just like the thankyou for taking your time to write this incredible response, I’m absolutely mind blown by how accurate it is, you’ve basically articulated much of what I’ve long thought but couldn’t quite explain. I’ve screen shotted this text, please keep up the good work.

I'm very happy that it has helped you. Makes the effort worthwhile.

I tried to send you this in a PM but every time I tried to send it it’s goes in my outbox as opposed to my sent box for some reason. Here is my message…
Hello, I’d just like to thank you for contributing to my thread about circumcision induced ED. Your theory about the NO pathway is the only theory I’ve ever read since I’ve been circumcised and thus had ED (3 years) that makes any sense. I know for a fact that the lack of sensation I have from circumcision is the cause of my ED, there seems to be a two way response between the brain and the highly sensitive foreskin. I no longer even feel aroused, a couple of months back I had a naked 10/10 naked Polish girl infront of me and I didn’t even feel aroused. When your uncircumcised you feel your foreskin move which send a signal to the brain which creates a feeling of Euphoria which triggers and erection. Now I don’t have any sensitive skin so i don’t have the same response in the brain.

Do you think there is anyway I can improve my situation given that the NO pathway is likely involved? I’ve read a few studies which have said that L-Arginine and L-Citruline may help with NO related ED. I’ve also read that R-Lipotic acid may improve function of the Endothelial cells, and I’ve seen on a diagram that Endothelial cells are somehow related to the NO pathway.
I’m also considering flying to Eastern Europe for stem cells therapy in next winter.

Thanks for your time

When you send a private message it goes into your outbox first, I will see I have a message from you, once I open it, it will then appear in your sent items.

I am sorry but I do not have any solid suggestions with regard to repairing the damage that may have been done due to a circumcision causing serious loss of sensation. I would suggest trying to find something new that may cause nerve regeneration and growth to occur. I feel this is what happens in the infant, neural plasticity at that age in those tissues must be much stronger than when we are older, plus the penis is still growing and developing. Stem cell therapy may hold some promise here in the adult penis.

The other option is to bypass the NO pathway when trying to have an erection, the only way I know how to do this is with an IC injection of a drug which acts on the smooth muscle directly, Trimix has these ingredients, it also has phentolamine which supresses the inhibitive mechanism in the penis, which may also help you considerably as this simply makes anything that is trying to cause an erection to occur more effective.
A medication that also heightens arousal in the brain may also help, as this may strengthen the psychogenic erectile pathway, sending a stronger signal to the penis. Apomorphine is one such drug that has been used for this purpose.
I do not think there is an issue with the NO function in your penis, so trying to improve this may yield no improvement. Triggering it in the first place is more likely the problem IMO.
Do you still have nocturnal erections? Can you still reach orgasm and ejaculate and with how much difficulty since the procedure?

Why did you get circumcised at 26?

I was getting tears in the skin at the tip of the foreskin. So when I'd retract if for sex, the tears would open up and sting badly.

A stupid doctor called it phimosis and said circumcision was the only option and made a bunch of money selling me a surgery I didn't need that ruined my sex life.

Years later I learned it was probably just a yeast infection that i got from my girlfriend that could have been cured in other ways.

So, you believe that circumcision leads to ED, correct? Well, all men who've been circumcised have lost some degree of sensitivity so by your logic all men who are circumcised have some degree of ED. That's not the case.

I've been circumcised for 50 years, and you have been for 14 yet your ED is worse than mine? Again, by your logic mine should be a lot worse than yours.
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

The study someone posted here said that men circimcised as babies have their nerve/brains rewired to be able to fully function. Much betten than men who are cut as adults. But either way, the loss of sensation is very real, whether it's the cause of the ED or not. I've felt things from my dick that no man who was circumcised at birth will ever feel.
