Did you get the right medicine? Drugs.com says Clomid is a fertility drug for women.

Clomid never really boosted my libido or helped my ED. Only thing it did was bring my T levels to normal. My T levels were normal after taking clomid for a few weeks

Hi Simbarn,

Fyi, since taking clomid for a week I've had good morning wood which stayed hard for many minutes. The libido along with it improved but not much which is weird considering that the 2 (wood and libido) should go hand in hand. Maybe I need to stay on it longer to derive the full libidoic effects?

I read your link about the long term side effects whilst on clomid and how it may act as a double-edged sword for libido. Do you think an endo rather than a uro would be a better fit for determining what meds i need or how much clomid and for how long is needed?

Also, I had a great rush of libido when I was sick with the flu last month. But fyi, I dont know for sure if i had covid or the flu, although I did experience loss of taste for a week. Tomorrow I will be getting an antibodies test to determine if indeed it was covid. Will let you know! In the meantime, I look froward to your response, simbarn!

I had the same experience. Raises my T levels on paper but has done nothing for my libido. In theory the drug sounds great but for me it doesn’t do anything. If anything since I started taking it my libido decreased. Which I know it doesn’t make sense but I didn’t have much of a libido problem before and since being on this medicine I haven’t been that interested. Other people I’ve talk to said the same thing. Clomid was some thing they were on for a few months and then they got off of it and onto injections and we’re much happier. I’m not sure who it really works for I haven’t found one person that said they had great success with it.

Awesome post Simbarn. What you wrote about Clomid makes perfect sense to me. Seemed to cause more trouble than good.
