Glaucoma
Glaucoma
I have wide-angle glaucoma, and the optic pressure appears to be under control with drops. However, the disease continues to progress as my visual field continues to shrink. I am concerned that the drugs I take for BPH and ED (Uroxatrol and Cialis) may be causing nocturnal hypotension and affecting the blood flow to my eyes. Any other members with similar concerns or advice?

Re: Glaucoma
Dad,
I would definitely talk to BOTH of your physicians soon. These drugs DO lower blood pressure - that was their intended effect. The ED was a delightful side effect. In fact, on the side of caution, I would not take any until both doctors have cleared it.

Re: Glaucoma
Talk to your doctor about replacing the Cialis with an injection. Injections only effect the genital area and not the whole circulatory system.
