Widening of arteries

Postby s7utty » Sat Dec 17, 2022 2:54 pm

Hello, I've been diagnosed with narrowing of arteries by CT angiography.
I also have spine issues and pelvic floor problems. My question here - can both of these result in narrowed arteries ?
namely my left side is suffering while right is okay.
I am able to get erections but the problem is keeping them at full rigidity.
I was told to quit smoking and im working on this as smoking has vasoconstrictive impact.

Do you think i could benefit from shockwave therapy if my left arteries are very narrow ? Will it help at all ?

and in general is there anything i could do to expand these arteries somehow ?

I WOULD LIKE TO MARK THAT I ASK FOR ANYTHING BESIDES PDE5 PILLS. THEY WORK INDEED BUT I WOULDNT LIKE TO HAVE TO RELY ON THEM ESPECIALLY BECAUSE SOONER OR LATER THEY WILL STOP WORKING AND STOP EXPANDING ARTERIES.
IM ASKING FOR EVERYTHING THAT CAN HELP BESIDES PILLS

Regards
28 years old. some form of ED always with me entire life.

My goodness if you want to have a long and satisfactory sex life you've got to stop smoking. I have heart disease and had to have a cardiac by-pass 10 years ago. The first sign of a cardiac artery blockages is ED..Google it.. There's no easy short cut solution to plaque build up in your arteries. If it's happening to the arteries feeding your penis it's happening to your arteries feeding your heart muscle. Americans always want quick fixes to health issues, a pill, or a surgical fix...but all the research points to 3 basic main causes or remedies if you will;
1. Stop smoking
2. Change your diet..eat more fruits and vegetables. If you can move to a Whole Food Plant based diet.
3. Exercise regularly..start doing some physical activity daily, most docs recommend walking 20-30 minutes a day to start out.
Your post lacks other information like have you had your cholesterol checked? have you had a carotid artery sonogram?..I suggest if you haven't already get a full cardiac work-up. ED is a majority of the time an issue of circulation..not enough blood filling the chambers of the penis, or other issues circulatory issues like venous leakage. But from what I'm read in your post, and I don't mean to scare you, you're about 5 years away from some sort of cardiac problem, or stroke issue. There is a ton of documentation and videos on what I've mentioned above...concerning ED and cardiac health. I wish you the best of luck and nothing but good health. ( I apologize if my reply comes off judgmental that is NOT my intention) Good luck
70 year old legally separated retired health-care professional. ED began in my early 50's. Viagra worked great for about 5 years, then had cardiac by-pass surgery and eventually moved to injections about 10 years ago.

its completely okay i dont feel offended fam.

sometimes it's better to say something exactly like you did, that is bluntly - maybe it will reach you better :) that's how I checked my cholesterol level. on a scale of 1-5 I have a 6. I also have elevated triglycerides. I also have thyroid problems. I went vegan for 3 years with my ex-girlfriend and actually felt better. today is my 3rd day of not smoking. I smoked a pack a day for 8 years. there's no way I'm going back to that. of course, I will change my eating habits, I will exercise and I will not go back to smoking. however, I'm wondering if adding shockwave therapy to all of this would be a good idea. I'm not talking about continuing bad habits and making waves, just make changes plus a wave. thanks for the answer
