How much?

I started off at 10mcg used all no help. Used 20mcg full unit 1.0 erect for 5 minutes. Doctor gave me 40mcg.
He said start at .55-.60 is that to much? He said a full vial or 20mcg equals .50 of a 40mcg. Please help don't want to end up in ER.

Going from 20 to 40mcg is quite a leap. Is that a Edex or Caverject System you are using?

If you have some extra regular syringes (1 ml size) you can draw out some exact amount from the 'system' syringe and do the injection with the new syringe. That May be a little more accurate and safe since you know how much you've drawn and don't have to be trying to inject only 1/2 or 3/4 of a full system syringe while it is sticking in your willie at an awkward angle.

I use around 20mcg delivered PGE-1 ... good for 1-2 hrs and chubs for an hour after that. You seem to be clearing out your PGE-1 very quickly or maybe just not enough inward bloodflow to keep things inflated? Hard to say which without some kind of doppler test that might show if you have venous leakage.

Any achiness with 20 mcg?? Ache might be a factor as you increase to 30 or 40mcg ...

I'm using edex. I guess my question is: if I use .50 of the 40mcg is that equal to the 1.0 at 20mcg? I ask this because he said to start at .50 of the 40mcg, and move up as needed. Should I start at .25 of 40mcg? What's egual to a full vial of 20mcg? I don't want to start low and waste it or high and end up in ER.
