Could one continue to lose size indefinitely??
I keep reading “use it or lose it” on here. If a man does not get erections then size loss is in store. My worry is it could just shrink forever until the implant is put in or some other corrective measure
26 years old. USA. ED problem since teenage years. Doctor prescribed ED meds showing some efficacy but not a guarantee. As much as I’d like the implant I now think I should hold off if I’m seeing some results from pills

ED caused by Peyronies or other diseases related with penile fibrosis are likely to cause size loss, but I believe ED itself doesnt always cause size loss.
I have severe ED for the last 8 years. My erected penis is 2-3 cm shorter compared to when I didnt have ED. But its because I cant have a %100 erection even with pills. Every once in a while I have a good day and reach my %100(with pills ofc), when I measure on those occasions, I see that I didnt lose size.

There's a lot of myths around all this... obv i am not an expert/doctor but i really don't think you'll lose any size unless it's related to fibrosis or other physical damage done to the penis. It is not a muscle, you obviously can't make it "grow" by using it a lot (or every man would end up with a huge schlong after puberty lol). The same works for "shrinking".
Another thing that could change it tho is hormones - if you go on a sex change therapy you WILL lose size. However, i doubt that's a practice of the target audience of this forum.

40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.

After fighting ED for 12-13 years I definitely lost size. Tried everything along the way before getting my implant. Just before ED started in my mid-50's to post implant my length is close to one inch less. It's not a use it or lose it thing, it's caused by the tissues not getting stretched as often and they tend to shrink.
