Ineffective generics of cialis/viagra/levitra

Postby Donkeykong » Sun Sep 01, 2024 5:00 pm

Has anybody else found that pharmacies sell ineffective generics for viagra/levitra/cialis? I am in the U.S.

I feel like I am being forced to consider implant when I probably just need pills that contain what they claim to contain.

This is a ridiculous situation to be in:

Since the pandemic, I had only one 90-day refill of a generic cialis that worked pretty well. That was a couple of years ago. I haven't been able to find that particular generic brand anywhere since then, but I hoarded some, and sure enough, every time I used them I would get good erections. Anyway, all the other generics of this medication they gave me before or since (three different manufacturers so far) might as well be sugar pills. I know they are bunk because they have no side effects.

And I haven't found working generics of viagra and levitra since 2021. Same thing, no side effects so I know they’re bunk.

My docs have confirmed to me that other patients have this problem. In fact one said “I get this all the time...” But the docs don’t have control over the brand you get.

Pharmacies in my area refuse to order brand name cialis/levitra/viagra even if you specifically ask for them. They would cost thousands of dollars per container if they did order them. As for ordering a particular generic brand, that is impossible too. You pretty much get whatever fell from the truck.

I ran out of my hoard of the generic cialis that worked about a year ago and haven’t had a decent erection since except with injections, but I don’t care to inject anymore because I get long term swelling and nodules (scarring) from them.

I hate pills for their side effects and the "hit and miss" general action... but to be honest i haven't found any real difference between the 3 brand names and the generic pills - they are all equally bad to me. I do take them sometimes, when i feel like braving the headache, stuffy nose and pink vision, to get some "natural" semi-hards for the wife to play with while watching a movie.

Are you sure it's the generic's fault and not just the general action of these types of pills? I've noticed they are VERY sensitive to context - have you eaten recently? What have you eaten? Have you had alcohol? Are you tired? Are you hornier than usual? Are you ill? What's the room temperature ? Is your dog happy? ... :P
40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.

Try 5 mg daily Cialis + 100mg Viagra on demand. This combo works better than the individual brand's max dose for many individuals.

I've been trying up to 20 mg daily cialis + 200 mg viagra + 40 mg levitra (all generics though). They do nothing. No side effects or anything.

Torrent, Dr Reddy's, Zydus, and Solco are among the manufacturers that distribute inert, underdosed, or damaged generics for cialis/levitra/viagra in the U.S. in my experience. And I think GoodRx collaborates with the big pharmacy chains to sell pills that do nothing at too good to be true prices to unwitting patients.

Many do not know that the patent on medicines run out in 20 years .. Viagra came out 1998 .. so the patent has run out on it ..according to my PCP who is pretty sharp the manufacturer are required to give the ingredients but not the formula of the medication .. so they are constantly adjusting and tweaking it trying to get the right balance .. in the meantime you and your wallet are the guinea pig ..

Levitra only as generics anymore. For me i tried all 3 and they all work but I have lots of side effects.
Im trying daily cialis at 5mg but I find after 3-4 days I start to get back hacs.
Viagra seems the worst for side effects, then cialis and the lesser levitra.
Higher dose is not better for me.
1967 model. Looking for futur options. Using Cialis or Viagra with Good/mix results with the bad side effects.

I had stopped using pharmacies a few years ago and recieved a good contact on a sex forum with good reviews.they are based in the uk and post to us here in florida.usually takes about 10 days .it is mostly india based pharmacies they use but i have never had anything that didnt work.Prices are good also and if certain packs have short expiry you can get them for half price.Im happy to pass it on here if anyone here would like it.give me a pm.

I haven't had a problem with any generics, from a variety of shady (non prescription) , or regular (prescription) sources. However, for me, NONE of them work as good as they used to, even vs. 2 years ago. I don't know how old you are, I hate to say it, but if you're over 60, I would say part of your problem is just the progression of ED. A lot of decline can happen in 2 years, at 60+.
64, fit, active, healthy, gym/cardio/yoga buff, no prob my whole life til several years ago. Lately getting worse. No meds exc C/V. Bloods OK, T OK. C/V worked for awhile, effectiveness is declining. Now titrating 30 Pap/3 Phen/20 PGE1 trimix blend.

I agree.

Progression of ED can appear like decreasing effectiveness of PDE5-i.
