Are you talking micrograms (mcg or ug) instead of nanograms (ng)? I'm guessing that's the case. Regardless, I don't think there is an answer for that. For me it would be but then 25 mg of Viagra would do nothing for me. 100mg of Viagra might make me a little fuller but no more. 7.5mcg of alprostadil would give me an erection but not a super boner. However 25mg of Viagra might work great for you. If Viagra works for you without too many side effects that the way I'd go. It's pretty common for guys to switch to injections when the pills no longer work.

You seem to have a lot of experience with PGE1. What dosage did you start with and what are you at now? I took my first dose of 2.0 mcg which barely did anything but give me a 20% chubbier flaccid. I understand this is basically nothing but would it be smart to go to 7.5-10 mcg instead of 2.0 to 4.0 mcg?

First of all, I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experience at best and hallucinations or delusions at worst. Internet forum advice is likely worth what you paid for it or worse. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

I don't know your history and every man is different as to best dose. My ED is from a non nerve sparing radical prostectomy and is profound. Pills do pretty much nothing for me. When I started PGE1 it was in the form of Edex in their proprietary cartridges. The 40mcg cartridges were required. I was eventually able to reduce my dose down to 15 to 17mcg and even down to 6 or 7mcg for oral. When you start getting into single digits it gets progressively harder to meter and or properly deliver such a small dose. At 2mcg I don't even know how you do it.

On the other hand getting a priapism isn't a good thing at all. What's the rush? Take some time and experiment. Experiment without a partner sitting there wainting impaitently for a boner. Experiment without that added stress. Bump up to 5 or 6mcg. No results? No big deal! Bump to 8mcg next time. You get the idea. When you get it figured out and have a good erection in hand (ok, a bit of a pun) then it's time to bring it to your wife or whatever on the next try.

Are you sure you really only took 2mcg? That's a tiny amount.
