So here is my story. This is difficult for me (as I am sure it is for all of us) but I feel I must share the details of my situation openly and honestly if there is any hope of me overcoming my problems with ED.
I believe my issues all started because I have made horrible choices with women. But I need to see if maybe I have more of a mental issue or if it is still possible that I could have venous leakage etc...
I have always been an emotional sensitive person. But I ended up a drunk in many failed and destructive relationships because of that and the fact that for most of my life I tried to be a nice guy and do the right thing rather than cut destructive people out of my life.
I went through a horrible marriage with a woman that I was not even really attracted to and that led to me falling into a habit of porn as a ill conceived way to try to fill the hole inside that is always there nagging at me.
When we divorced, I also lost my job (during the economy crash of 2008) and ended up working from my home office setting my own schedule.
This led to me chronically masturbating (3+ times per day) as I struggled with depression and loneliness.
I met a new woman (who is wonderful) and we dated for 4 years and I struggled with ED throughout that relationship. Problem there is that I am not sure if it truly is ED because again I am not sure that was completely attracted to her.
I am on my own again and trying to get myself back together. I have cut the porn down, with relapses here and there but I am getting better, maybe only looking at something a couple of times a week.
I have improved my lifestyle to some extent, taking vitamins and supplements and working on exercising. I still need to cut out the coffee and cigarettes but I still struggle with the hole inside that cannot ever seem to be filled. A longing the aches. (sorry I am a pussy I guess).
I have worried that I have venous leakage because I can sometimes get an erection but never maintain one. When I take Viagra (100mg) I can get an erection and maintain it but only if I am very mentally aroused.
As I have been weening myself off porn I find slight improvement in my erection quality but still cannot seem to maintain it for long.
This morning while looking at a photos of Monica Bellucci I found myself 90% erect and stayed that way while I masturbated for about 5 minutes. I did not orgasm but lost my erection as my attention waned and my thoughts turned negative.
I am of the thought that if I had venous leakage I would not be able to get an erection like that after abstinence from porn and being very mentally aroused. I would guess that venous leakage would be a constant problem regardless of mental arousal, is that an accurate assessment?
I am working on starting to work out. I am not sure how well the cardio part of it will go, maybe I will just start with something easy like jumping jacks everyday. I order dumbbells and an inversion table as well.
I know I have to bite the bullet and ditch the coffee and cigarettes... I am having a hard time resolving to that because my life feels so empty (wahhh I know).
Anyway I thought I would share as coherently as I can and see what thoughts others have here.

Hi DD, OK lets start with your smoking, I think as guys most of us at sometime smoked, I started at the age of 11 and for the next 38 years, I'm now between smokes for the last twenty years, see I still consider myself as a smoker but just between smokes, it the way alcoholics work, I stopped myself over a 6 to 8 week period till I got down to 3 a day for a week the kicked it into touch, so how, at first you need to get rid of all the habit smokes, so the ones with your cups of coffee, cut out the coffee and you cut out the smokes, so that means your part of the way there.
OK so get out and start some jogging don't go mad and do miles, start by just going so far and jog back home, do that for a few days then extend it and so on, and your find as you slowly cut back on the smokes your jog further, its a big help as its so nice to strive to go further, this is how I did it, and it worked, and all the time your doing that your be cutting back on the coffee, so one is going to work with the other.
For me having had ED and fort the fight and won, one of the things I believe in is getting your blood clean, good clean blood gives us good erections, at the age of 68 I get woke up with nocturnal erections and wake up with some really good morning woods, these I gave up on many years ago, so its woke my sense up for my penis.
I did this with cayenne Pepper, Turmeric and Garlic these 3 are really good at getting your blood clean and flowing well, they get rid of the plaque build up we all have or with me had, my last blood test the doctor said was for my age fantastic, so with some other supplements a hormone and daily vits, and a very good cock ring, things now work, and work when I wont an erection and not by some pill or pump.
OK here is how I do the CP, Turmeric and Garlic, its a post of mine that sometimes I can put out daily, I do some answering on another site.
The way out and clearing away plaque would be to get on Cayenne Pepper, Turmeric and garlic, take this each morning and see how you go.
Its all very healthy for you.
You just mix CP and Turmeric 50/50 in olive oil and then mix with tomato paste and thin it with olive oil, at first you just mix this to a heat that suits you, and over time you can slowly increase the CP and Turmeric.
You take 3 teaspoonfuls each morning first thing, you wash each spoonful down with water, before anything else just after you get up, one thing it will warm you up, with this, which will also help would be very fine chopped garlic, just do a whole head, chopped fine, and keep in olive oil, with this you add dried parsley, a couple of good desert spoonful’s and mix, you just add a teaspoonful on top of the CP an turmeric mix, just mix into the top take as said.
The Parsley its very good for the blood and helps keep your Cholesterol down.
Please do keep both jars in the fridge, keeps a lot better that way.
Now if you google and read up about all three, there very good for ED, your cholesterol, heart and prostate and RA, garlic is also very good for your blood, so along with the CP and turmeric, your be doing your body the world of good.
At first you really need to be taken this 3 times a day the other 2 times just before meals, for 2 weeks, then just twice a day for 2 weeks then just the once at first thing in the mornings, great way to start the day.
And yes have had ED now in recovery and do take what is above daily along with other supplements and a hormone.

So did you miss the part where he's used the big blue pill he said it works but for just a short time and that's at the top range, for some guys Viagra is not the best thing to us, the are some bad side effects from it.

One of the main things I am trying to ascertain is how to know if I have venous leakage short of a visit to the Urologist. I am short on money and do not have insurance. I am going to get insurance next open enrollment but that is not until November.

Hi DD As your getting some good erections then no, most guys cant even get that far, when it comes to getting a good solid erection, I think your problem is mind wander, But if you get on what set out perhaps we can get your erections lasting a lot longer, and that's what your also looking for and all drug free.
Remember the less drug we put into our body's the better it is for us, and setting yourself free of coffee and cigarettes would be a big step to what your looking for in your sex life, the cayenne pepper, turmeric and garlic is a very cheap way to get yourself going again, just google them for ED and your see why.

Thanks. I was kinda thinking that myself but I do not know enough about it to trust my thoughts.
I am definitely going to give the recipe you gave me a go. Will get the things I need next trip to the store.
I really have to kick the cigs and coffee I know. Working on a plan now. It's hard because I have made a ton of changes already. But I will just keep changing a little a time and not turn back.

Porn and masturbation may be the least of you problems. Smoking, possibly poor health overall and maybe some depression are much larger issues for you to focus on.
I would recommend focusing on your physical health first. Walking is as good or better as jogging. Consider buying a fitness watch like the Fitbit. Since your're working from home it may be easy for you to get out for several walks a day. Build up to an average of 10,000 steps a day and then move up.
Try to quit smoking, although I know that's hard.
If masturbating three times a day killed people a lot more guys would be dead. You may be surfing porn sites and masturbating out of boredom because you are no longer in an office work environment. If you can, try to spend half to 3/4 of your day working out of the house, say at a Starbucks, McDonald's or some place else with good wifi.
Most of all, focus on your health first.
