Need help! Time for an implant??

Postby Tom Jones » Sat Feb 21, 2015 8:42 am

Hi
I am 12 months from my Radical Prostatectomy. And I am nowhere close to being firm enough for intercourse.
Maybe 25% of the way there with no meds. and maybe 50% of the way with oral med. Also no spontaneous erections and I need physical stimulation to see anything.
I've had a few doctors tell me it would be a miracle if I would show enough progress naturally in the next 12 months to recover to the point for intercourse. But a few have said "wait and see". Can I get feedback from members on their progress after a Radical Prostatectomy? Also I feel I was at a better point 6 months ago with my erections. With Cialis I thought I was maybe at 75% but I don't think it works well anymore. No oral med seems to help. When I first started taking 20mg of Cialis I would definitively feel flush. now I can take 20mg and not even feel the affects physically and my erections are not as good. Has anyone else built up a tolerance against oral meds that quickly?
Thanks for the help.

Could not have said it better myself. I'm 80 and just last month had my Titian implant. Had my prostate removed 20 years ago and then went through 20 years of ED, frustration and misery. Pills never worked. Injections worked sometime. But never could depend on them. I tell people, get a implant. You can have erection when you want it, for a long as you want it
age 80. Prostate removed (cancer) 20 years ago. ED resulted. 19+ years did nothing. Tried pills, vacuum pump (HATED IT), injections worked sometimes, but not dependable. Presently have a inflatable, worked the 1st year. Not working for me now.

Hi Tom - ditto what Stanri and others have said. I am 83, and had my implant done approx 9 months ago. Very little pain. It is difficult to explain how much this impacts ones life. You can do things you never dreamed of before. You can have a hard dick any time you want it, and keep it as long as you want. How many others can do that? Not even an 18 year old stud can do it. No meds, shots, vaccum contraptions, blow jobs, or hand jobs required. You dick will stand tall all night long and all day too, if you want it. Good advise - go over to IMPLANT section, and start reading the posts. You will get answers for your questions. Good Luck.
