Treatments for hypogonadism
For those of us with hypogonadism, the treatment has traditionally been testosterone replacement. Has anyone here had any experience with hormone modulators such as clomid and arimidex. If so, how did the treatment turn out? did they raise your "T" level? Any side effects of concern?

Re: Treatments for hypogonadism
I recently learned about hypogonadism. After doing a lot of research on the web, I am under the opinion I may have suffered from partial secondary hypogonadism during puberty. I started TRT (Testim 1% gel) 40 days ago and have started using an extender. My T has increased from 330 to 880. Now I will see if the extender adds any length. During my research, however, I never came across any recommended treatments using harmone modulators. I would be interested in any links available.

By increasing your T level to 880, can you tell any differences in how you feel? Or how you respond to various stimuli?
Thanks,
Greg

I really do not feel any physical difference, though my libido is up some. Tried for an erection without any help (male enhancement pills or constriction), bur could only achieve a soft erection unable to penetrate without stuffing it. Still it was better than I was able to accomplish in the past 7 or 8 years. Add my OTC pill and 25 mg of Viagra (I used to need 100 mg) into the mix and I am up to 80%. Add constriction, and I am at 90%+. I have only been on Testim for 40 days so there may still be room for improvement. In any case, I am pleased with the improvement. Doctor gave me a coupon for a $40 monthly reimbursement for 12 months which covers my insurance co-pay so it is free for 12 months.
