Sildenafil and heartburn
Sildenafil and heartburn
I left the clinic with scripts for both sildenafil and trimix. I have tried both (not at the same time) for a while now. I much prefer the trimix when it comes to side effects, however the sildenafil works great for me too. I can tolerate the stuffiness and the flushing, but the heartburn is just too much. I've used sildenafil enough to know the heartburn is not from anything else. And it hangs on for up to a couple of days. Tums after the fact doesn't do much for it. I plan on bringing this up at my next visit, but thought I'd ask here if there's anything those afflicted with the same intolerance might take as a preemptive strike? Thanks!!

It helps to not take it on an empty stomach. I'm sorry but I don't have anything else to offer.

If that doesn’t work try taking an antacid with it like aciphex.
