It will be strange to read this in a weeks time or later. At the moment I don’t have ED. However in 6 days I will be having my prostate removed and the surgeon said he won’t be able to save nerve and I will have it. When I look back at this, I will think of when I wrote it. Weird....
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has tried the Pulse 3 duo? I am looking now to the future. I don’t have a lot of money and so can’t afford to try a lot of products that don’t work. They claim you can orgasm with one of these without an erection. Anyone tried one? Thanks very much for taking time to share....

Re: Asking if anyone has tried this...
So sorry to hear this news. Been there done that. Yes the Dr is right. Up if surgery you will be limp. Did he also tell you that you will no longer produce cum.
You should discuss with the Dr what are your options for a sex life. The pills probably will do nothing for you. Injections will work but the sure thing is implant.
My insurance would not cover implant. I have done injections for 8 years with success, not crazy expensive if you go the right way. Compound pharmacy is usually the least expensive.
I do recommend that you get a penis pump to keep what size you gVe left. Don’t be shocked if you loose some length.
If you have more direct questions feel free to private message me your cont info. Or if you want I can send you my info.
Best of luck. I also suggest that you visit healingwell.com. There is a prostate cancer section there with lots of info.
I am Cajun Jeff there.

You should also check out the Pumping Forum. I have been using a VED and tension band for penetration for about eight years.

I'm also sorry to here you have to go through this. Also been there/done that. I 'm also willing to Private Message with you, email or talk on the phone. I'll add that my wife will talk with yours if she's interested.
I pretty much echo what corvetteman3 said. All good advice.
I also strongly suggest buying and using a VED (vacuum erection device) commonly known as a Penis Pump. Use it for therapy to prevent shrinkage and maintain blood flow. Ask your doctor for a script for one and see if he can code it so your insurance will cover a good medical grade version. If insurance won't cover it as a sex aid they might cover it for blood flow therapy. Worth a shot.
As a secondary benefit you may also find the VED worthwhile to use as a sexual aid in conjunction with constriction rings. It's far from an ideal solution for severe ED but can be better than nothing. Some couples are satisfied with this use.
In my experience, pills (in my case cheap generic Viagra sourced through Canada) work very well with the VED. Pills do nothing for me by themselves, erection wise, but do seem to help substantially with using the VED. It's seems that while the pills will not cause or enable a "natural" erection in me at all, they do seem to tell the valves in my blood vessels that it's OK to allow blood to flow in with vacuum. Otherwise for me, without Viagra, VED use is problematic. In short, the pill makes pumping easier.
I do want to caution you to not get too frustrated too soon. For many of us the road to maximum recovery can take a fair while. Some solutions that don't work initially may be more successful later in recovery. Even after you've recovered most bladder control, pee can be an issue when engaging in sexual activities. IMHO a lot of initial solo experimentation/play will help a lot with recovery with this issue. Of course if your wife has some kink and likes water sports it won't be an issue, but otherwise....Of course everyone's recovery is unique and this may not be an issue for you. I pray it isn't.
No, I've never tried the Pulse III Duo or Solo. If you try one please report back with a review. I did try a Viberect X3, another even more expensive "miracle" sex aid. It didn't really do anything for me but it obviously works well for some. It isn't really at all similar to the Pulse III and my experience with it should have no reflection on your potential success or lack thereof with the Pulse III. I only add my Viberect experience as a caution to be skeptical with any sexual aid, especially expensive ones. But hey, the Pulse III might be great. Let us know if you try it.
I wish you a successful surgery, and a quick pain free recovery. Hang in there buddy!

Re: Asking if anyone has tried this...
I haven't tried the Pulse 3 duo but it looks doubtful that it would work for me with or without an erection. The "Venus 2000" or now called the "Venus for Men" by Sybian is also supposed to work with or without an erection. It works by sucking your cock into a receiver almost like a milking machine. Looks awesome and gets good reviews but it cost a lot of money(over $900). There are quite a few videos of these machines in action that can be found by doing a Google video search for Venus 2000. I bought the receiver kit from them by sending them my measurements both flaccid and erect for about $50 and I'm trying to build the rest. Problem I'm having now is the 12 volt high torque motor I bought and configured to work with it isn't so high torque and doesn't have the power to run it. I was thinking about buying a cheap Black and Decker 12 volt drill and pull the motor from it to use on my project but I'm not confident that will be powerful enough either?

Re: Asking if anyone has tried this...
Depending on your wallet and or desires there are also milking machines (See www.Serious Kit.com, or other knockoffs), Electro-Stimulation or more powerful vibrators like the Nobra Twincharger (German made).
I lost penis sensitivity and found that vibrators didn't work too well for me. I bought the Nobra Twincharger but it failed me. It has a powerful vibration but my 5.5" dick needed to be longer/bigger for it to fit me properly. It beat me up pretty well but no orgasm (I have anorgasmia).
I ended up using Electro Stimulation which can be acquired via various price point electro units. Basically one attaches electrodes to the penis, balls, etc. then run a small current through the electrodes to eventually cause an orgasm. I see videos of young healthy guys getting the big O in just a few minutes. In my case due to nerve damage from my prostatectomy, it takes me longer to get something like an orgasm. It is usually hit or miss with me. Usually one uses outside stimulation like watching porn (engaging the brain) to help getting to climax.
Do a Google search for milking machines, electro-stim, Venus 2000.
Don't get frustrated (easy for me to say right) but keep reading this forum for ideas and help, experiment with different devices. Don't jump into an expensive toy or machine until you find out how sensitive your dick is as it may very well change after your operation.
As for erections, I tried vacuum but didn't like it. I now use injections of Bimix which is prescribed by Urologist at UCSF. Don't be put off the idea of injections as the nerves in the penis shaft are not as numerous as the glans so its not painful like one imagines. The very small needle goes into the shaft. It's a cinch to do.

Thank you everyone for the amazing welcome here. Thanks for taking the time to help as well. I really appreciate it. Well, for me it is the night before the operation in the morning. About to go to bed. The journey is about to begin. Thanks again.

Re: Asking if anyone has tried this...
Hi, I have the Pulse 3 Solo, it is a very different beast to most vibrators as it uses a percussive action through a small circular section which rests against the frenulum, this works really well even without erection but I do find that without any real girth it does need to be held in place. With erection it will sit on the end and do its stuff unaided – very pleasant! I have also had great success with a Magic Wand with the Hummingbird attachment again both flaccid and erect.
Bob 1974 talked about the Venus 2000, this is a superb machine and will let you edge for literally hours or climax in under a minute depending on how you control it, so much fun but so very expensive…. As I have posted in a different thread I have had to sell my Venus 2000 pump, the powerful suction the V2k generates meant that at point of orgasm my bladder emptied like a fire hose on full blast (actually a very pleasant feeling for one who normally has a dry orgasm) which caused a proverbial Vesuvius of pee to erupt over the room.
With regard to electrostim, I enjoyed this for many years but have found that since my cancer it no longer does the trick. If you are interested in electro I suggest you have a look at www.smartstim.com like this forum it has many contributors with a wealth of experience there who will guide you safely through the minefield of options available.
Wishing you well, Mike.

Willywonka- I'm having the same problems with Electro Stim since my prostatectomy-lowered penile sensitivity. Did you try the Venus 2000 before your cancer? If yes, were you able to reach orgasm with Venus 2000?
I'm having a devil of a time getting to orgasm with Electro Stim now and was wondering if the Venus 2000 would help me. My uro has me trying different drugs to beat my anorgasmia but so far nothing works.
I hate having a libido and not being able to get off-very frustrating. Along with that my wife has unilaterally decided no more sex play for us. My sex life sucks right now. LOL

Re: Asking if anyone has tried this...
I bought a pulse 3 duo. It pounds like a jackhammer. Way to rough. You could get the same stimulation from a HD back messager. I was thinking gentle vibes with my dick laying in the form. No! It pounds your dick. Should have kept it to give into someone like you, BUT I threw it in the trash. Don't buy it. I have spent more on junk dick toys than the price of a few good blow jobs down on the blvd. AS for the RP, I used injections and was allergic to PGE-1 in trimix. Sever/Sever pain. Went to a tiny dose of PGE-1 mixed with 20 units of 30-2 bi mix. Much less pain and hard for 3 hrs. Then something caused a right hand bend in my dick at midship. This was less then 30 injections. Went on to implant at USC Keck in LA, CA. Keep your length and life by VED every day till implant or between injection use. You will shrink.
After RP I was 2 inch dribbler. After implant 700 lgx I am 5 soft and 6 hard.
