I get a blue screen that says “123 Flash Chat” with “Welcome” at the bottom of screen.
That’s it, does not give any log in options, nothing.

Android does not support Flash chat.

I hate to say it but the chat is working fine. I know it's very frustrating. We had to make this site secure for many reasons. The reason chat does not work now lies with your computer unfortunately. And for those of us who are not terribly computer literate this is really a problem. As I said before flash chat is in old and dying program and is going to be harder to find browsers who still support Flash chat. On my Dell computer I have to use Puffin in order for chat to work properly.

If you are unable to use chat I would Google the problem. Use search terms which include your platform, you are browser, and Flash chat. You'll probably find some answers that way.

Thanks Paul, I don’t have android. I guess I can assume that it does not work with iOS either since many of the FT group can’t access via iPad!
And since iPad is what I use because I don’t want to sit at desk and use desktop system, it appears that I will no longer be able to utilize the Chat format that was chosen by FT.
It is of course the admins choice. As far as being computer literate, I have built systems and written script for various programs.
What I’ve found over the years is if you have to jump through hoops, as it were, to access a program, the program itself is not well formatted. A good program should not lock out users because of the hardware or search browser used! But that’s just my opinion!

I am at work and chat is working for me - again, I'm NOT a computer person at all. So, the program is running - I have no idea why it works for some and not others. Just so people know, the chat program is not on our website. It is an outside website/program and we just access it.

We are working on finding a new chat program, but the problem is, most of them are awful and cost a lot of money. Without flash player, chatroom programs become really complex - which is why they are so expensive. ET - you are right. if it is so hard to get on, it's not a good program. Perhaps we should just kill the chat room until we find a better program.

Oh no Paul, don’t take it down and punish the people it’s working for just because a few can’t open the site. This will all work out at some point. It’s just very confusing to me that it does work for a few and yet when I check an online site to see if 123FlashChat is up it says it’s not! Thanks for your input. Hopefully a satisfactory remedy will be found.
