When I started PE, I thought it would matter. Perhaps it does matter and she feels uncomfortable bringing up the subject. As far as she knows, I only use my pump to generate an erection. Perhaps the next time I have it all pumped up, I will ask her directly if she can sense any difference. After 41 years of a great marrage and more than satisfactory bedroom activity, I am not about to risk a good thing.

Hi Warren, see as you and me had a slow incress, they dont, but if your wife is like my wife bet she ooh on entry, see then our work is done, see people when we say this and have done this, look at us as though were mad, but we did it, and they havent, and for us, look we may not have gained the inchs that some guys gain, but we did gain, we did it, so now were looked down on, but then we can keep our heads up, in more ways than one.

As a direct response to Karin's question, I think guys who have endured many years of "embarassement" coping with a sub average penis in naked communal situations (HS gym showers, army latrine showers, community pool changing rooms, college dorm showiers, public gyms, public urinals, etc,) tend to obsess over the size of their penis. One needs to walk in the shoes of a guy with a short dick to understand why we are obsessed with it.

dwarren I think you right. We guys are always comparing our size to others we see in the gym, locker room, etc. I was like that once. Then I became more confident because the size of a guy when he's flaccid doesnt mean he's that size when he's erect. Some like me grow quite a bit. Im very tiny when flaccid but reach almost 6" (wth the help of Trimix) when hard. Before I remarried, I slept with a number of women who seem to be happy with what I had. One told me that it was great to sleep with a guy who didnt bruise her cervix everytime he stroked her. I do think some women may prefer thicker becuase of the feeling they get when the fit is tight. Just like us guys prefer a woman who is tight. Shipper.

Im sure your wives are used to what they been getting for so many years. Most women I know could care less about a guy's size as long as it gets up and stays up and satisfies them. So guys why are you so hung up on it. Karen Shippers wife

Karen, I guess I am like the typical guy and always believe I would be better in bed if I had another inch in length or thicker girth. I am 5.25" and on the smaller end of average size. During my 37 years of marriage my size never reallly crossed my mind and everything worked well for wifey and me. SInce I had a prostecomy and cannot get it up naturally I am much more concerned about my overall performance and now I am additionally concerned about my size in a new relationship. Heck, before my prostate cancer surgery I never ever needed a blue pill to enhance my performance, now I need a VED or Edex to get it up and I am wondering if my size is really adequate for my new GF.

I recently came across this post in Measurection.com, a forum/support group for guys with smaller dicks. I think it clearly puts the size matters controversy into proper prospective:

"Opinions are my own, but I think that to most, size matters - to some degree - and that's not wrong.

However, just because someone enjoys dreaming of size L or XL, it doesn't mean that the X-SML of us can't be enjoyed, loved and dreamt of too.

My wife accepts me and my x-small size because she loves me as a complete person. I know she would enjoy me having several more inches in bed, but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter.

Not once has she ever made me feel like my 3 1/2 inches is a reason to feel inadequate. We have hot fun together and she is satisfied - multiple times.

The funny thing is, I fully accept being small sized. I embrace it in fact. I keep my package smooth by shaving daily, not to try and make things look bigger, but because it's easier to handle at my size, it just says, "Yes, I'm small" and I believe it's a visual statement that makes an impression.

My wife can tease me with a comment about my size or sometimes about something larger knowing that I know how much she loves me and the comment is just playful banter. Our relationship is larger than 3 1/2 inches or even a foot. I know she accepts me and loves every inch of me.

Yes size matters and it's ok. At the end of the day though, it's about the size of a relationship that matters most."

dtwarren1942, well said! But, I would add that neither size nor hardness matters at the end of the day in the best relationship.

I don't think sixe matters but hardness does!! if you aren't hard enough, you can't have intercourse.

shipper, I completely agree with hardness mattering and being required for intercourse. I was merely trying to point out that sex is not the most significant part of a truly loving relationship. How do I know this? Well, I dearly miss my deceased wife of 37 years. I miss her for her friendship, her love and so for many other reasons. Sex is not even near the top of the list of what I miss. That is my point. If your partner does not "love" you because you cannot perform at the highest level in bed, then I would say that thay you are not with the right partner and are missing so much of a far better relationship.

Sex is an expression of love, except in the case of animals. (LOL)

I do not believe Shipper is saying the value of a relationnship depends on the hardness of an erection. Instead, I believe he is simply stating that women do not put as high a "pleasure value" on size as they do on hardness. In other words, a women can easily detect a difference in hardness whereas the difference in size is more difficult to sense.
