You can get a list of specialist form both the Coloplast and AMS web sites. Most are General Practice Urologist and not Male Sexual Function Specialist.

The only specialist I will post is a recommendation from a gentleman that has used that doctor and is satisified, and with his permission.

Always do your own research and make sure the doctor is well qualified to do what you need.

Well, the appointment went quicker than I expected. Dr Jelly Fingers did the DRE and stump fondle. He listened to my explanation why I was there and agreed that my ED symptoms sound like a leak and assumed (like me) that it probably is a leak. He also cut to the chase and told me that this particular VA hospital does not have the equipment or option to do a Doppler test to confirm a leak. His question to me was “Even if we did a doppler and confirmed the obvious, what do you want to do about it?” I asked what can I do? He told me I have two options which he would be glad to help with.

*Injections (Caverject) or Urethral Suppositories (Muse). Two forms of Alporstadil.
*Implants.

I chose the injections.

Since the VA is always incredibly over booked with Vets and current Active Service men and women, my 1st injection appointment won’t be until Feb 15th. Until then I will continue to do my penis exercises, take Levitra and crank my pump.

The VA has been remarkable to me and my family.
