Hi Guys, Perhaps in my circle were more open minded for one thing, and its nice to know somebody if you do need it at some time to talk to or come and talk to you as they do know what your problem has been, the big trouble is hiding behind a cloud or put up a front, its a case of being friendly with people you know or family members who have members (sorry for the pun) and just saying look I have had a problem and this is how I got out of it, but if you do think you need help try the FT site, but if you do think it will help just shout about it, the more its out there the more help others can get or tell others, remember its like a stone on the pond and how the circle widens.

Just think your here and you can talk here, reason we know non of us, were just to far apart and you would not recognise any of us if you feel over any of us in the street anyway.

Its just a case of being kind, being up front, and say yes I had the problem with ED and there is help out there so don't just hide your problem, and this is what this site is about, that's why your here now and me and Paul as he started this site, so we can spread the word.

So please guys do spread the word.

It seems that ED is out of the closet and out in the open. All the advertisements all over the place about Cialis and Viagra reflects that ED prevails with many who are over 50 . With that it would not be embarrassing to talk about it and it could be discussed with a friend who has had prostate cancer. I told my wife that I talked about my ED and my implant to my married friends who were hesitant to open up but later did. We weren't discussing our sex lives but talking about the medical side of ED..

Most seemed it was the end of their sex life after PC but now I opened up the door for them to join FT and do research on their own in the area of ED. I was surprised that a few just wanted to give up sex, since it was "too Much trouble" to pursue. Perhaps they had other medical issues too.

I am not embarrassed and I am not ridiculed by my friends since I can perform with my implant. :D

I know plenty of men my age who are no longer sexually active, like myself, and none of them express the slightest disappointment or dissatisfaction. It seems to be difficult for many on this forum to believe that interest in sex ever goes away, but I'm here to tell you that it can. You reach a point where it just doesn't matter any more. Several well meaning guys here have tried aggressively to convince me that there's something wrong with me and I'm just not trying hard enough and should get counseling or whatever, but the truth is that I'm just no longer interested, nor is my dear wife.

Bro:

Do you have any interest whatsoever in your dick? Do you still masturbate or play with your dick. Seems every man I have shared with who has aged is still fascinated with his dick and at least is playing with it, getting off even flaccid if they cannot get it up. My knowledge comes from fine men on this website who have been honest enough to talk about the effect of aging on a mans sexuality.

Every man handles things individually I would think, and aging is no different. However the men who are in their sixties, seventies and beyond who have discovered multiple male orgasms or prostate orgasms or dry orgasms as they are synonymously known, are in another world of pleasure and a renewing of their sexuality much like teen years.

This rewiring buisness of the prostate can be learned thru Mantak Chias books on Male Multiple Orgasms, Jack Johnsons website on key sounds, keepitupjohnsons book LOVE SATISFIES (available at Amazon), keepitupjohnsons website/forums on Male Multiple Orgasms, or thru aneros prostate massage with an aneros toy to name only a few avenues to the male multiple orgasmic experience.

As for men, I believe that most healthy men are hooked on orgasmic pleasure regardless of thier age. I am sure that some are not and that negligence of the penis and lovemaking, disapointment in performance, poor health or whatever may account for a total stoppage of any sexual pursuits, either solo or with a spouse. As my cousin told me bluntly in a discussion with him recently where we were sharing honestly, sex for him and his wife wasnt worth the trouble. I can only assume my cousin who is in his seventies, was plagued by many of the problems which beset aging men and refused to work thru them. As a youth, he was a house on fire to hear him talk, so I was astounded to hear him say that.

As for me and my wife, we are not willing to give up sexual play and affection.....even if it doesnt all the time end in intercourse. It is good for both her and me to feel that wonderful sexual stirring in our bodies, souls, minds and spirits, even if my dick is not always reliable.

Personally, I am looking forward to rehabilitate my sexuality with the benefits of the Male Multiple Orgasm as many other aging men have done.

My two cents with no stones thrown at anyone.

I use my penis several times a day to urinate, but that's about it. My stroke robbed me of all desire for sex, and my wife lost interest long ago during the ED struggle and after menopause. Life is what you make it, and we're making out fine without sex.

Hi Hardrod and Thinktank, Well at least some of us are real men and that we are open in our minds and body's, we are the men that Paul wants here being able to say yes we do love our sex lives and will do anything to keep it going, its called having a good sex life, no matter what happens to us, we will keep our dicks as hard as we can and our wives as happy in bed as we can.

I cant really understand DG's wife and after the menopause, for most women its a relief from there cycles and free to not worry about getting pregnant, I know some do have problems which is why they have HRT it gets them over that bit, for me MY wife now 69 is still happy to have sex, and hoping this carry's on for sometime yet, DR betty Dodson was I think 85 when she gave up having intercourse, but still likes to have a man in bed with her and not just for sleeping, as she still likes to orgasm.

So guys if your wife is waning send her off to read all about DR Betty Dodson, www.dodsonandross.com there they will find her and can read all about this great women, she has freed a lot of women up, teaches them how to masturbate, and how to orgasm as she runs life class's in NY.

So guys lets all be free and help others, this is why this site is here to help other get over this problem guys have over ED.

Lets give Paul a big hand for doing this, as he is another man who got over ED by fighting it and wanting to still be the real man.

Good luck to us All, and do keep those ends UP.

My wife has a history of deep vein thrombosis, which is a contraindication for HRT. She always enjoyed sex and had good orgasms, but even so it was never a priority for her. Since my stroke I don't care about it either, and while I may not be in the mainstream of guys here I do have an implant and come here to talk with guys who are contemplating surgery.

Hi DG Sorry for the wrong call its that I answer questions of the menopause, and my answer was from history just a mainsteam answer, there lots of women who never go on HRT, its there missing link.
So does she go walking, swimming or yoga these are very good for women with blood clot problems, they do need to get out and moving to stop it happening again otherwise it could lead to lots of other problems.
Your stroke did this really stop you or are your just afraid of getting another stroke from sex? I know it can lower your libido, but sex is one of the things that is good for you, but on the low side not bring on a stroke, try reading this link http://www.strokeassociation.org/STROKE ... iqU-f2FMic
See if it helps you.

Good Luck

Thanks for the link. The article assumes that the individual is seeking to restore his sexuality, which I am not. I'm truly, genuinely not interested. We had our time, and now we're in a different place. If we were distressed about it we would be seeking change, but we are not. Many here seem to think that there is something wrong that we need to fix - we disagree. I'm happy to come here to discuss implants - the decision, the surgery, the recovery. I know that virtually everybody in this forum is anxious, if not desperate, to restore his sex life, but my perspective is different - there are plenty of others here who can discuss the use of the implant.

Conclusion DG, This thread was on Should We Tell and like all good threads its drifted and ebbed.

But with you DG ( personal take) I don’t think anyone can help you.
Guys come on here because they have ED, the one thing there aiming for get over it and get back on with our sex lives again, we all just love doing it, except you, you have lost the one spark in life we all love, having sex our wife’s or loved ones.

For me DG, its you and not your wife, its you who a has drawn the line and you blame your stroke, you gave up the fight, just the same as you not telling those around you, saying how great it is to be back in the saddle again.

See, you had an implant, you can tell on here but not those around you, that’s not a really great way to be, for me as you did get back in the saddle, just remember that.

NOWHARD

PS See DG, Having sex is one of the really good things for us men, and its very good for women as well, perhaps one day you will get the picture, this works for all ages but the older we are the better it is for us.
