Well, we can't know. As all research and development, their goal is to get it out as soon as possible. They need to make money after all.
Medical things are indeed slower than everything else, but there's hope a new method will be out in the next 10 or so years. For many of us, there's still time. Gotta hang tight till then.

40 years old, married. ED all my life because of spinal cord injury caused by a tumor in early infant age. Using standard EDEX20 since 2007. Increasingly bad results with EDEX in the last few years, but had very good results for at least 10 years.
