Just glad this group exists

Postby Nocturne » Tue May 01, 2018 9:22 pm

Every now and then I feel the urge to say it: I’m really glad this group exists. I lurk here a lot despite the fact that my ED is (mostly) in check for the time being. Especially on the implants section. While I can still have good (and sometimes VERY good) sec, with a little help from Cialis and hormone therapy. I know that there are things that are very wrong with my body and that the young part of my life is emphatically over. It is only going to get worse from here and that is scary and depressing - but then I come here to the implant section and see how happy these bionic guys are, and think, “Oh - THIS is as bad as it gets, and it doesn’t look so bad!” In fact I genuinely look forward to needing and getting an implant and going back to having anxiety-free, worry-free sex where worry about whether or not my boner will wilt are not even on the table.

For now I remain not in inmediate need of an implant, but anxious about the inevitable time period where my erectikns are crap but not crap enough to warrant an implant. I think I will want to fast forward past that part of life.

But still, I come here and see the joy and happiness in the implanted, see guys who were previously completely impotent who have gotten their lives back and love being alive again, and it is a major relief. So glad you guys are here and do what you do.
Genetically sky-high Lp(a) of 390 led to various heart diseases. Ultra-low testosterone of 120 (now 480 with Clomid) also contributed to ED at age 41. Managing with daily Cialis, but for me, the implant is a "when", not an "if".

I agree. FT is quite a gift to us all.

Ditto. FT was a big help for me leading up my implant surgery and continues to be helpful after. Now I am grateful to be in a position to pay it forward by doing what I can to help other men.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

I love FT too BUT, I was already implanted when I learned of this website. I was so happy to have it as I healed and started to cycle. I had lots of questions and several of these special friends (Donnie, Hugh, Greg1956, just to name a few). I got a lot of depression as I slowly healed and then got sepsis and the depression got worse. I'm all good now because of ALL of my Frank Talk friends. This site is amazing. :)
