I have been using Trimix (and / or Edex or Caverject) for years now and just recently started a pumping regime - separately and not in conjunction with the injections.

Just wondering if there are pumps that people prefer or work better than others. I really enjoy it and only wish I had started years ago. I usually pump 10 min. x 2 day. Results / benefits too early to tell, but sure feels - and looks good.

I just got a Bathmate X30 and then more of a typical rechargeable air pump type which I think I prefer.

What say you ?

I like to do VED therapy, or at least I feel it's beneficial. I'm actually too lazy to do it as much as I feel I should. I usually use the Osbon ErecAid manual model. I find the need to totally lube up my whole dick a PITA but it's necessary. Just lubing the mouth of the tube and head of the dick, as described in the Osbon literature, is very inadequate. I also have to take a pill and look at some erotica to get the VED to work well. The wife can help with that but I feel bad asking her to help if it's just a therapy session. I obviously have some serious nerve damage. Oh well!

The most economical hand pump with vacuum gauge and of decent quality is the LeLuv system with vacuum gauge, available on Amazon for about $80.

For about $140, you can’t beat the VelSeal cylinder from Pump Toys with thick silicone cushion around the base for comfort ($110) and the brass brake bleeder pump with vacuum gauge from Harbor Freight Tools (usually on sale for about $23). You will also need a male connector from McMaster and Carr for about $2.50.

What is VED therapy ? My dick gets really big and hard from using any pump. Lubing the head of my penis and entry of the pump is all I need to get really hard.

I have found that a water pump such as the Bathmate x30 is easy to incorporate into a daily shower routine.

That said, the x30 has a pretty steep learning curve, at least it did for me. It is much easier to use if you go in erect, but if it were that easy we wouldn't need it for therapy.

A comfort pad to cushion the hard gaiter helps the discomfort but makes obtaining a good vacuum more difficult. Shaving pubic hair is essential, especially during the learning curve. I find the water pump not near as harsh as an air vacuum and more convenient to use in the shower. During a typical shower session I will pump and deflate 5 or 6 times with a hold of a minute or 2 at full.

There is an added bonus of seeing yourself through the magnifying effect of the cylinder and the water. I know it is an illusion, but still good for the manly ego!!

I just got my X30 and use it during my daily morning routine. I wear it while drinking my coffee and watching TV in the early morning. I can go about my business quite easily wearing using the neck strap with a tub nearby to release water. I can actually walk around while wearing and it's getting easier not spill a drop.

The only issue I've had using either pump I have is going "straight" in with my penis so the head doesn't go up against the side and bend. Easiest to do avoid this by inserting in a standing or partial squatted position. Try lubing the head too, you should be good. Being completely shaved is a huge plus (virtually all nudists and swingers shave). But it does take a little practice. I use the water unit in the morning and air unit at night (10 min each) but that may change over time.

When it becomes "comfortable" and you start to feel you have "maxed" it out, look into the vacuvin mod, but proceed with extreme caution.
