Just got this fantastic step-by-step instruction list of how to prepare for and use the viberect. I will be posting this on a treatment page as soon as we can pay for it!

Here are some tips from many patients who email us to give their tips for proper Viberect experience, which is basically to maximize your own nerve pathways of erection and orgasm..
Note: These exercises are suggestions by doctors and actual patients who use the device and email us their tips. This is not meant to be medical advise and is to be used at own risk. They are simple suggestions for optimal Viberect experience. If you have penile prosthesis...do not perform stretch exercises, as this may damage your prosthesis.
Pre-Viberect Reflex Exercises to Prime the Penis and optimize Bulbocavernous reflex.
1. Lay on the bed with your knees elevated, and relax the rest of your pelvis.
2. Grab the head of your penis with both hands. only grab the head, and not the ring of the penis. If you are uncircumcised, pull your foreskin to expose the head of your penis.
3. Pull the penis in the air to its natural limit and hold....and pull a bit more and hold....you should feel your penis and pelvic muscles contracting very quickly and resisting your gentle pull for a tiny half a second.
4. Once you experience this "pull back" (which is learned), then stretch and feel the pull every 2-3 seconds. The pull is mild and is very quick. but becomes stronger as your pelvic muscles become stronger.
5. do it for several minutes.....the first time, do it until you feel your pelvis tightening and your penis filling with blood gradually ( 3-4 minutes)....this is a learned process and once you learn it, then you can expect it...so don't give up, do it until your penis begins to fill.....many men also report getting very rigid, and penis becomes very sensitive, and ready for orgasm. this is a reflex,,,,,which involves getting the stretch receptors of the muscles responsible for emitting semen and rhythmic contraction of the bulbospongiosus muscle (which is the pleasurable orgasm feeling of the penis). This pathway is call the bulbocavernous reflex. It is a spinal reflex which involves the sensory and motor fibers of the Pudendal Nerve, which remains intact after prostate cancer treatments (does not involve cavernous nerve, the nerve bundle that is injured by prostate surgery and radiation. This reflex is thought by many sexual experts to be partially responsible for rigidity of erection.
6. This reflex maybe weakend in some men, but it can become strengthened, with patience and motivation. It is like Kegels, but involuntary squeezing, which erection is...involuntary
7. The Viberect is extremely simple to use. Push the Power button (please see the Youtube video under viberect instructional video) which is a 2 minutes instruction.
8. Place the penis between the pads and bring the pads together with your grip. You can increase the pressure and sensation by putting your hand and grip closer to the vibrating end of the device, and even pushing more with your free hand pushing of the vibrating end. you should find a "sweet spot" on your penis. you can move the device to the sweet spot. .....now apply pressure. Use both pads vibrating. Most choose the highest frequency. The process may take 3-7 minutes, and it may not occur in the first sessions until your nerves are awakend from long period of dormancy.
9. Dont focus on the function of the device. focus on the most intimate and craziest sexual encounter you have ever had. This could be a crazy encounter 50 years ago in college. focus on details of that experience. Erotic centers in your brain have an incredible ability to become excited and send pro-erection information down from your brain to your spinal cord and brain to augment the Vibratory stimulation by Viberect. Go deep in the thoughts, and forget about the viberect. If you become frsutrated and looking at Viberect, you are not doing it right and likely to fail. You can also do this while kissing your wife or other forms of foreplay. Focus on success. Frustration and impatience will increase adrenaline in your body, which will shut down your normal erection pathways.
10. These exercises take time, and may not be immediate in some, but once learned, they can become routine. Some men with severe ED may not succeed right away, and may require combination with other modalities. If is possible to reduce the effective dose of oral meds or injectables and perform the viberect after taking the meds, and obtain improved response in combination.
11. You can Increase intensity of stimulation by gently applying more pressure by holding your GRIP closer to the vibrating end, instead of the nonvibrating (thinner handle end).
Even if you had non-nerve sparing surgery, you should experience Viberect response to a degree and reflexogenic pull back exercises described to a degree, since they are independent of nerve bundles injured by surgery or radiation. If you are not experiencing it, it is possible that you are not doing it right or giving up too early. Do it every 2-3 seconds, pull gently and feel the penis pull back and release and repeat.
Frustration and futility status can be extremely detrimental to normal sexual response.
