I am pre-diabetic and have nephropathy and difficulty achieving orgasm. I have found Curcumin (tumeric) and Alpha Lipoic Acid to be VERY beneficial re the neuropathy -- more so than the Gabapentin Rx from the doc. Takes about a week to kick in.
My GP told me that Gabapentin MAY interfere with the arousal/orgasm response.
Orgasms are become easier to achieve, but I think that is due to the passage of time since the traumas of prostatectomy, implant and revision. The size of the numb area on the underside of my penis is gradually becoming smaller, and the sensation in my glans is back to normal.
PM if you'd like to chat.
Bob

I am interested in knowing what type of curcumin you are using. I have delayed ejaculation possibly due to peripheral neuropathy. I tried one brand of curcumin which actually made the problem worse. Alpha lipoic acid does seem to help with the neuropathy.

Stem cell transplantation is still in the testing stage, but is considered very promising.
