Change in board info?
Change in board info?
All I see lately is implant questions and info. Did the board change to implant info only?
Re: Change in board info?
I think it's more that men are realising at an increasingly quick rate, that implants are the only good option for ED.
Pumps and needles are crap.
I'm becoming one of them.

No, pill and injection discussion is still very much welcome. I heard a long time ago that the majority of the members are implantees so it stands to reason that the discussion will also be about implants. The other thing is that lots of pill/injection members have implant dates.

This is definitely mostly an implant site at this time. IMHO, by appearances, it is getting substantially more so at an increasing rate. Subjectively, it also seems to be getting more "clicky" although I was recently shocked by some unexpected pushback I observed. Not much effort is made to encourage or develop the injection aspect. It's not unusual for implantees to interject comments into injection topics dismissing injection therapy and encouraging moving on to implants (Yes it is of course appropriate for some men to skip injections altogether or move on to an implant). There are other issues that probably contribute to a lack of enthusiasm and participation by those using injections. But I doubt it would be constructive to go there. I seriously doubt the number of people using injections is diminishing due to implants. I suspect the number of men using injections is growing fairly rapidly although I haven't made any attempt to research or document it.
Not that I'm any expert, but I only hang around in case I can offer help or encouragement to some new guy who's struggling and that my limited experience might benefit. There have been some very knowledgeable and well spoken injection using members that now seem to rarely participate. It's unfortunate there isn't an active vibrant ED forum that isn't so extremely implant oriented.

I've only been aboard for ~ 3 Mos so I was just assuming it was just a momentary shift in the tide. I expect that in time I'll be an implantee too. Being a new injector with PE I've gotten valuable info.from FT. I'm hoping by the time I'm ready for an implant they'll have figured out how to add a few inches in the process.

I, for one, am glad you stick around to offer feedback about injections. I did not inject long enough to consider myself anything more than a rookie. Thanks for all you do here.

Speak for yourself! I am now 75 years old and pumping is working really well for BOTH my wife and me. At this stage of our lives there is no better remedy for us.
There is a great deal of proselytizing for implants here. There is also a tremendous amount of information and help for injections and pumping. Just search the site and you will find valuable information and help.

Good man.
But for many they don't, especially younger guys. Wiping out a pump when you bring a girl back or fighting with a needle and the fear of peyronies isn't that good for us.
Some make it work though, good for them, good for you and the wife.

Had you said pumps and/or injections were not for you, I never would have responded. You said

I responded to what I read to be a denigration of choices other men, myself included, have made. There is no "one solution fits all". At least as of yet.
