Since my implant I have undergone some new psychological thoughts and feelings. These feeling include throwing away current lifestyle, marriage, etc. I have considered going to a nudist resort. my wife is not a nudist at all. I have contemplated a divorce. These feelings are not sexual in nature, but just more interested in a change in my life will some excitement etc. I am in the midst of a mid-life crisis which have going on for over 2 years. Since the implant it has gotten worse. Is there any suggestions from men who are older and are these feelings normal?
I am 62 years old. Full blown Ed for 10 years. married for 18 years. my urologist dr. Kershen. Implanted October 15,2018. AMS 700 LGX 18cm length by 12 mm diameter I live in Coleman, Mi. USA :

If I were you I would seriously ask yourself if you no longer love her. 18 years is a long time to give up if you still do. Have you talked to her? Does she know that you are not happy? Have you given her the opportunity to respond to what you have told her? I agree that sex is important but you have not said that she is not interested in sex, just not being a nudist.

she is interested in sex, but not nudism. I am not blaming the procedure. my life is crazy right now. Has other men experienced this also ? wisdom says any change during these times usually ends up getting hurt. My wife is heavy set, she has had bariatric surgery with failed results.

Reality time: My wife passed away 8 years ago. In all that time I've found only one woman who was interested in me. I did love her, but in the end it didn't work out. Trust me, going through life lonely and horny is just plain awful. Think very,very hard before you do something stupid that you'll regret for the rest of your life. Dumb ass!

Developed ED after Heart attack and by-pass in 2000. Used pills for years, but they don't work anymore. Shots don't work. Used a VED for several years. AMS 700 LGX installed 8-7-19.

R.R.P 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. M. Wehle. Not nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 8 - 14 units. Originally Edex20, then compounded PGE due to cost. Inject. 12 yrs. It works. Treasure coast of FL.

You will not see that I have acted on a comment but if it is offensive it will be. Based on who's opinion, you ask... well, the Administrator selects the person that they have faith in their opinion. Bubba, Yep you sound like your in mid-life crisis for sure. I think the other post was just to say slow down and think real hard the other side may not be as good as one thinks.
There was a couple of good points "Do you love you wife?" Really important.
What are you expectations if you move on?
Have the 2 of you had open difficult conversations about you state?
Would you consider counseling? Individual or couple possibly both?

Bubba, I AM supporting you. You needed a wake up call before you make a very serious mistake. I know what its like to be over 60 and single. I live with that curse every day. Dating at our age is not what you think it will be. Finding a good woman is a hard, difficult, exasperating and heartbreaking job. You may go months, years between dates only to find you're not compatible after all. Sometimes the loneliness is unbearable. In my case, I didn't get a choice. My wife died.
I'll be damned if I'll sit by and allow someone else do that to themselves on purpose.
Think very, very carefully before you act.
